About Morwenna

Morwenna is a lovely ground-floor apartment set on the coast in the picturesque village of Mullion, Cornwall. With fantastic sea views and welcoming two four-legged travelling companions, this delightful retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a special coastal escape.

Inside Morwenna, you'll find the heart of the home, the living/dining room. Here, you can gather with your loved ones around the Smart TV, warmed by the toasty gas fire, and relax while you plan the next day's travels.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook up some wonderful culinary creations. The dining area makes the perfect spot for enjoying home-cooked meals or planning the day's adventures.

Or, you can dine al fresco with a view on your own spot of private decking with views stretching as far as the eye can see. For an evening of extra indulgence, the private hot tub is a wonderful place to take in these views while you relax any aching muscles.

Once your day draws to a close, you can find three well-appointed bedrooms. A spacious super-king-size bedroom, which can be converted into a twin room upon request, offering flexibility for your party, an elegant king-size, boasting an en-suite with a walk-in shower, providing a private sanctuary for guests and the third bedroom is a bunk room, perfect for younger guests.

When a new day dawns, freshen up in the family bathroom with either a hot rinse or a soothing soak in the tub. With all of this on offer and so much more, enjoy a stay at Morwenna.

Attractions Near Morwenna

Flambards Experience Cornwall - TR13 0QA

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children. Inclusive tickets for all attractions are excellent value with a family of four costing just £25.00
Lost Gardens of Heligan - PL26 6EN

The amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of Cornwall's most popular attractions and offers arrange of activities for adults and children. Besides the beauty and unique atmosphere of the gardens there are also organised events to enjoy throughout the year including a Harvest Display, Wild Food Walks, Halloween and Christmas celebrations and Book Signings.
Dairyland Farm World - TR8 5AA
about 27 Miles
Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
