Tremornah

Snuggled amidst the beautiful Penwith Peninsula, this three-bedroom cottage boasts accommodation for up to eight guests seeking a rural retreat within easy reach of coastal attractions.

The rear enclosed garden boasts a private hot tub, patio, and lawn, with garden seating and a barbecue. Set amongst a little gathering of holiday cottages and the owner's own home, it makes a superb bolthole.

Enter up external steps to the first floor to discover a cloakroom with basin and WC and a country-style kitchen. The contemporary kitchen is a sociable space with a TV, a farmhouse dining table for big breakfasts, and is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an AGA cooker.

The welcoming living/dining room has plush seating, a TV, and an open fire, perfect for those chilly evenings in. There is a formal dining table for foody gatherings, and doors lead out to the generous balcony, with dining furniture to make the most of those alfresco sunshine occasions.

Stairs down to the ground floor offer three bedrooms. Bedroom one is a twin bedroom, the second offers a double bed with a mirrored wardrobe and an ensuite shower room, and the family room has a king-size bed and bunk bed, with access directly into the garden, a safe haven for children and dogs to play.

The sleek bathroom has a claw foot freestanding bath, ideal for indulging in a leisurely soak after a day of fun-filled beach adventures. Take a 10-minute walk to the local inn, serving good food.

Lamorna Cove, with its tidal sandy beach, is just over a mile away and is perfect for sheltered swims, kayaking, paddles, and picnics. The Southwest coast path between dazzling Porthcurno Beach and charismatic Mousehole is a great walk, with a little fishing community and quay, art galleries to browse, and traditional inns for refreshment.
