After a day of exploring the region, cuddle up on the sofa whilst the woodburning stove gently crackles, easing you into the evening. Step into the kitchen/diner, finished in blue tones with a romantic dining table, along with a selection of appliances to assist you throughout your stay.

Head out of the back door and enjoy a relaxing moment from your patio chair, appreciating the serene setting with a glass of fizz in hand, before taking a dip in the bubbling hot tub. Freshen up in the bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and overhead shower before whisking away upstairs to the double bedroom.

Pixie Nook sits in a fantastic walking location, with miles of excellent routes scattered over Bodmin Moor, with its beautiful scenery and diverse landscapes all of which are sure to be appreciated by your four-legged friend! Head to the town of Bodmin for a greater choice of amenities, or if you fancy a day on the coast, visit the fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro to the south, or why not try your hand at surfing the beach of Polzeath on the north coast?

Perfect hosting from Helen. The house is beautiful and we felt instantly at home. Big recommendation for a romantic getaway and perfect if you have a dog also.
We enjoyed our stay at Pixie Nook cottage so much ,hated leaving . The cottage was well equipped and cosy . And having a Jacuzzi in the garden was a big bonus. Will be back again and will recommend it to relatives and friends .

Adrenaline Quarry is the place to head for adults and teenagers and children looking for adrenaline boosting activities. The site boasts the largest and longest Zip wire in the country. Other activities available include Go Karting and the thrilling Coaststeering - Climbing cliffs and jumping in to the sea! All ages and skill levels are catered for and safety is top priority. Zip Wire rides start from £12.50 While Coaststeering costs £30.00.
The Monkey Sanctuary - PL13 1NZ

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
