Guests of all ages can gather here for a stylish countryside getaway which is guaranteed to keep everyone entertained. The farmhouse, which sleeps 14 across seven bedrooms, is spacious and characterful, and has plenty to do on-site, with a skittle alley, snooker table, and private hot tub, as well as an outdoor children's play area. Taunton town centre is a 2.5-mile drive away, convenient for stocking up on supplies and spending a pleasant day out visiting the museum, going to the theatre, and grabbing a drink or bite to eat in one of the many cafes and restaurants. Enter by the side door, and step into the charming kitchen diner, with exposed wooden beams, an AGA (operational October to March inclusive), and wood burner set back into an inglenook fireplace. It's sure to be the social hub of the house, with enough room for everyone around the table, to share stories and ideas for the days ahead over a hearty home-cooked meal. Cosy down in one of the two lounges, both with soft seating to curl up on and watch TV as you relax. When it's raining, or you simply want a day at ease inside, then head for the games area, available from 10am to 10pm daily. All ages will feel the thrill of competition as they set up a snooker tournament and challenge one another to a game in the delightful antique skittle alley. After a day of excitement, and when you're ready for a good night's sleep, climb one of the staircases to bed: the first floor is split-level, and divided into two wings. Up one staircase you'll discover five bedrooms, three king-size (one with an en-suite) and two twins, as well as a bathroom and two shower rooms, so there'll be no queues for a hot soak or a bubble bath! The second staircase leads to the final two bedrooms, a king-size and a double, both with an en-suite. Once everyone is feeling refreshed and recharged from their stay, and the weather is warm, host a celebration outside. Grill a selection of treats on the BBQ and dine alfresco on the large lawn as the sun sets, followed by a dip in the hot tub.

Beautiful cottage/barn conversion in the Somerset countryside. A great place for exploring both Somerset & Devon. The cottage was spotlessly clean & well equipped. We stayed here as two couples, a teenager & our Whippet & we were all very happy, the beds were huge & afforded us all a great nights sleep. The added bonus of 3 en-suites was also excel lent (along with the hot tub). Couldnt fault it - would highly recommend if youre looking for a peaceful location with lots of comforts.
Nicola
Fabulous stay at Blagrove View. Plenty of space for 6, hot tub was a welcome addition after a long walk. Convenient location for superb walking in the Quantocks and Exmoor although locally we did find that some footpaths were impassable and badly maintained. Would recommend shopping delivery although couple of local shops including Rumwell Farm sho p which had a great variety of fresh products. Overall a great place to stay for a restful break. Cream tea on arrival was very welcome, thank you.
Janine
Ideally located in the heart of Somerset. The owners really have thought of everything. We were three couples and a dog visiting for a week. We had plenty of private space - a bathroom each was one of the reasons for booking. The grassed space outside was great for our Molkky tournament and we all thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub outside in an evening. This really is a working farm - watching the harvesting was fascinating!
Stephen
Lovely cottage in a fantastic location to explore Somerset. Evenings in the hot tub were great after a full day of touring.
