Dorset Thatch Reviews

Emma
The cottage was lovely, really comfyand nicely decorated. The hot tub and table tennis were a big hit with everyone, though the WiFi and phone signal were pretty rubbish.

We had a lovely stay at Little Haven Cottage. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm throughout our visit, which made everything even better. The garden was such a treat-plenty of comfy spots to sit and unwind outside. We explored some great spots nearby, like West Bay beach, Abbotsbury Gardensand Forde Abbey. Food-wise, The Hive Beach Cafe and Symondsbury Cafe served up some cracking meals. Only minor gripes-wifi was painfully slow, the beds weren’t as comfy as we’d hopedand the lane was a bit busier than we expected. Still, a great trip!
Emma
Though the weather was a bit dull this time, the games barn really saved the day. We played loads of table tennis and the grandkids loved the table football. Cheers for another great week at Dorset Thatch - we’ll be back for sure!
Emma
We loved the peaceful setting of the cottage, surrounded by lovely countryside. The Jacuzzi was a real highlight, especially during the chilly weather. Perfect for a relaxing escape!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It’s really well kept and fully equipped, perfect for our group of six. The sitting room was super cosy, especially with the wood burner and a full log basket waiting for us. The welcome hamper was a nice touch. It’s a short drive to the Symondsbury Estate cafe and shops, which was handy. Plenty of parking tooand the outdoor games room was a bonus. Even in the pouring rain on New Year’s, we had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! It's beautifully maintained and super well equipped, perfect for a group of six adults. The sitting room is so cosy, especially with the wood burner and logs provided. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The location is great, just a few minutes from the Symondsbury Estate shops and cafe. Plus, there's plenty of parking and an external games room which kept us entertained even during the very wet New Year. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our week at Dorset Thatch. The cottage and garden are charmingand the peaceful rural setting was perfect, yet close to Bridport and beaches. Mornings with coffee outside, listening to the birds, felt so relaxing. There was plenty of space for our little one to run around. We did mention some housekeeping points to the owners, but overall, it was a lovely stay. We’d happily return someday!
Emma
This cosy detached cottage was just what we needed for a chill-out escape. The peaceful spot had lovely walks nearbyand the garden was perfect for our dog. She was pretty upset when we left her behind, honestly!
Lucy
We recently stayed at this charming cottage and honestly, it was lovely. The location is perfect-quiet gardens but still close enough to explore the town and coast easily. The place itself was spotless, spaciousand super comfy, with those little touches like the hot tub making it extra special. The staff at Symondsbury were really friendly and helpful too. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful spot!
