We had a fantastic stay! The location was peaceful and perfect for a family getaway, with plenty of space and charming character throughout. The views were relaxingand it was great to be close to all Dorset’s attractions. The kitchen was well-stockedand the sofas were super comfy. Our kids loved their outdoor play area. Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed in - thanks so much!
Emily
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is stunning and decorated beautifully, with everything we needed - plenty of crockery, so no worries about running out before the dishwasher! It’s perfect for different generations to stay together. The wooden hot tub was a real highlight, especially since it was our first time trying one. Such a lovely setting too!
Emma
We really enjoyed the stay at this beautiful property in such a lovely area. It’s well kitted out and spacious enough for our big family. The owners were nice and not intrusive at all, but privacy isn’t great. The only real issue was the limited toilet facilities for everyone.
David

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage looked just like the photos and was cosy enough for us. The garden was stunning and the hosts were super friendly. We tried to use the hot tub on our last day but couldn’t get it going properly, though overall, it was a lovely trip!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, really well kitted out and surprisingly spacious. The hot tub took some time to heat up, but once ready, it was brilliant. The kids loved playing football outsideand there was loads of parking too. Definitely recommend!
Emma
The barn was massive and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy with lovely linens. The hot tub was definitely the highlight! Beautiful walks nearby.
Emma
We had a lovely stay overall. The cottage is in a fantastic location and has gorgeous views. We were 6 adults and 3 little ones under 3. The kitchen is really well equippedand the beds are super comfortable. The only issue we had was with just 1 shower for all of usand the wet room is a bit small so everything can get wet in there, which is a bit annoying. We'd definitely stay here again! The games provided were excellent. Everything was clean and well presented. We enjoyed meals at the Nest, Forester & Grosvenor.
Ben
Great location and lovely walks right from the doorstep. We found it really well equipped and the friendly owners were just a short distance away!
Emily
We had a fantastic stay! The home was stunning and really well equipped. We absolutely loved the local landscape and area; it felt so peaceful as soon as we arrived. There was plenty to explore nearby, like walks and a vineyard. We also made trips to Stourhead and Longleet which are both just a short drive away. Our children enjoyed playing in the garden and the games area.
Chloe

This light and airy home is really stylishly furnishedand the owners have covered everything you might need for a brilliant getaway, from plenty of appliances and utensils in the kitchen to loads of games, an amazing hot tuband even a log burner! We all had a wonderful holiday! Cheers!

We had a fantastic time away! The barn was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The extra little touches were such a lovely surprise. The hot tub was really relaxing in the eveningsand the kids had a blast playing in it during the day. The games barn was a huge hit with both the adults and the children. We got some much-needed quality family time and will definitely be back in the future!
Chelsea

Emma
We had the best stay at Dukums House! It was beautifully decorated and really well equipped. The wood fired hot tub was fabulous and I can't even put into words how amazing it was to sit in there, taking in the stunning views, with the lambs bleating and playing nearby - it made all the stresses of the real world melt away, it was just perfect. There’s a games barn at the back and my family had a blast playing football, badminton, table tennisand even sunbathing on the giant bean bags. Just loved it!
Emma
We loved the open plan living, diningand cooking area. It felt really snug when it was wet and chilly outside, but it was absolutely lovely when the sun came out. The place is very well equippedand there were loads of logs provided. The beds were super comfyand the bedrooms had decent storage space. Having the utility room was a nice bonus. There were just four of us, so we left the bedroom next to the utility room alone since it looked quite dark and cramped. With two toilets, it could be a bit tricky for 6 or 8 people, as the wet room took ages to dry outand the second loo was in a bedroom.
Emily
This was our second time at Dukums House and it was just as beautiful and amazing as last time. It is an amazing place to stay with stunning scenery all around. The property is spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you would need for a very peaceful break away! When we spoke to the owner before our stay, she was super friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we needed. Thank you so much for yet another wonderful stay and hope it won't be too long until next time!
