Tallet Barn West Reviews

Kirsty
We went for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect location for what we needed! The views and setting were beautiful and not too far away from exploring little villages near by! The hot tub was the cherry on the top! Mum and I loved it, thank you!
Caroline
Beautiful location, great hot tub, plenty of amazing local walks right from the property. Indoor tennis court afternoons only.
Ian
Our countryside holiday lived up to our expectations. The accommodation in Tallet barn West is accessed by a long narrow and bumpy lane off the main road so be prepared. Being able to sit in the hot tub and take in the scenery was lovely. The surrounding area is covered with a network of footpaths to get you out to discover the landscape. Young fooRead moretball players are able to make use of the small pitch at most times however the indoor tennis/badminton courts need to be booked 24 hours inadvance. Hide

Absolutely beautiful barn conversion in a beautiful setting. Peaceful and quiet. We had an amazing week at Tallet Barn West, and look forward to staying again soon.
Lynn
We really enjoyed our stay and using the tennis facilities. Property is somewhat remote which is good and peaceful but does mean driving a few miles to shops etc. would recommend for a quiet hideaway or family holiday with space to play and walk Thank you for your hospitality
Clare
A hidden gem the view every morning was spectacular! Lovely clean and tidy accommodation. Will definitely stay here again.
David
We booked this for 3 nights mid week break and the accommodation was really lovely. Not really cold outside for being November but couldn't resist putting the log stove on and watching a real fire. Hot Tub was also lovely to use. Everything was clean and had everything need to enjoy our stay - the bread/milk/butter/cake and biscuits was also really appreciated on arrival after driving up from Cornwall. Very peaceful area. Thank you Simon and Lisa.
Ian

Simon
Lovely comfortable unit, quality fit-out/furnishings with log fire, hot tub and access to indoor tennis and badminton courts (note: 9-5 weekdays only). Nice location with lovely views across the hillside. A good place to relax/chill (although there is an adjoining unit, this was unoccupied the week we were there).

Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park - BA12 7NW

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme.  This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island.  And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see.  This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online.  This attraction is open until the end of October. Check out their website to see some fantastic video podcasts of the park.
