Storws Reviews

Alison
We have just spent a wonderful week at Storws. What a fabulous place! We were a family group, three couples, and it was wonderful to have three ensuite rooms. Everywhere was so spacious, and easy parking for three cars, as we had all arrived from different locations for our family gathering. Elin and John are very friendly hosts welcome provisions a real treat, especially the fruitcake, devoured by everyone! We went up to their barn to watch calves being fed one afternoon very special! The property is on a country road, a few miles to Beaumaris or Menai bridge in one direction, or the eastern bays of Red Wharf, Benllech Pebbles Bistro HIGHLY recommended, and beautiful Moelfre, to the other. The hot tub was used daily lovely memories of being with my sons, chatting amidst the warm bubbles! Very sad to come home. A holiday to remember!
A really lovely property with all you need for a relaxing break. Friendly and helpful hosts who are there for you if you need anything, but dont impose. Cottage is immaculate well equipped with everything you might need. Feels like a home rather than holiday accommodation, just so comfortable and welcoming. Location is perfect for exploring Anglesey, Snowdonia & Llyn Penisula. Thank you for a perfect holiday
Natalie
We had a brilliant week away in this beautiful home. Couldn't have asked for anything more, great hosts who have thought of all the finishing touches to make it special, spacious and well equipped house and great location. Will definitely return, thank you
Our holiday was more than we could've imagined. The house was spotlessly clean and the welcome cake, butter, milk and eggs gratefully received and enjoyed. Your house and hot tub blessed us all for the entire week. It was lovely to meet you in person and thank you so much for helping to unload our shopping you certainly went over and above our expectations. We would love to return.
A really comfortable property in a great setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Our third stay in your lovely cottage. We were lucky to have good weather and we just love how immaculate and well equipped they are. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and how the terrace is a great sun trap. Can't imagine there will be anyone who would not be delighted with their stay in your cottage. See you again next year.
Lovely property with high quality decor and furnishings. Huge bedrooms, all with large ensuites. Great situation, with easy access in all directions. Hot tub, with lovely views, nice to see the cows and sheep all around us while relaxing. Owners next door are lovely and really helpful, great cake left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay.
Joanne
Absolutely perfect cottage in a beautiful location. John & Elen are fantastic & friendly hosts.
As a group of 5 we had a fantastic time staying over the bank holiday weekend. Check in was seamless, the property was spotless and there was of course the added bonus of the hot tub! We will definitely be looking to return in the future. Many thanks!
Elizabeth
Absolutely beautiful. .. beautiful place. So clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee, washing products included were great! Lovely couple who own them, nothings too much trouble and Ellen baked a beautiful fruit cake on arrival! We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend this place.
Denise
An absolutely beautiful cottage, which provided a really cozy stay for us, as the weather really wasn't on our side. Elen and John were superb hosts, and made sure we were happy with everything during our stay. Highly recommend!
Beautiful property in a perfect location. Will definitely be booking this place again in the future, couldnt of asked for anything more.

An excellent stay at an immaculate holiday home. The owners were great and we felt very welcome.
This has to be one of THE best places we have stayedand weve stayed in a lot The house is stunning and everything about it is of the highest quality. The location is great, very quiet but within easy reach of all you need. The hot tub was an added bonus.Wouldnt change a thing,we were really sad to leave. Thanks Elen and John.....great job.
Elen was so obliging and we will forever be grateful. One of us had a nasty fall at the cottage our fault and she went up and above the call of duty to assist. Thank you. The cottage was amazing, so spacious and welcoming. They have used top quality finishes throughout. The welcome was great and especially your beautiful cake. There is no doubt we will be returning in the future.
We have stayed at stores now for three years and every time we go Ellen and John make us feel really welcome. The cottages is really spacious for 5 of us who were there and my wife ,son and mum spent most nights in the hot tub which is in a great spot next to the cottage. Look forward to returning in the future great place to stay and explore wonderful Anglesey. Thanks again Ellen & John. Chris and family Nottingham

Cottage was perfect. Facilities were of a high standard and location was great for travelling around the area. Elen & John were easy to contact if we needed anything but otherwise left us to enjoy the property. Hot tub was a welcome bonus to enjoy after a day exploring Elena welcoming cake was very tasty & much appreciated. Loved having Celt visit for a belly rub in a morning. Cheered us up for the day. Highly recommended
We were warmly greeted and shown around the property. We weren't overwhelmed with dos and don'ts either verbally or written down, there were just one or two helpful pointers. Elen had left a lovely welcome pack of delicious cake and essentials. It is a spacious property, beautifully clean and with just the right amount of furnishings to make the property feel homely but without any concerns that there could be dust lurking! We felt at home staying in when it rained and there was a good range of books and games for us to enjoy. Elen suggested appropriate places we could visit with our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.
Dianne
Beautiful well maintained cottage. I am a clean freak and Storws was spotless. The owners have put a lot of thought into the detail and it has everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday.Owners are lovely people and the surroundings and animals are a bonus.Very quiet spot in the beautiful countryside made it perfect for the best sleep we have had in ages. Thankyou.

We throughly enjoyed our week's stay at Storws. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. We were blessed with lovely sunny weather and the hottub was the icing on the cake. Owners, John and Elen, were on hand if needed and extremely helpful, and Elen your cake was delicious
Tracey
We had a fantastic stay, Elen & John were fabulous hosts, there if we needed them. They showed us around their other property which we will stay in next time we visit Anglesey. The tea loaf waiting for us was beautiful. Thank you
Catherine
We have just had an amazing week at this property. The house was perfect for 6 adults. Spotlessly clean, great location for exploring Anglesey. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you need a larger place to stay the adjoining property 'Sgubor is just as wonderful. I would recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Storws and it was everything we wanted & more! The location was perfect & central to all the places we wanted to visit. The weather wasnt the best but staying in such a big & beautiful accommodation meant we could keep 2 toddlers happy even on the rainy days. We will definitely be back to stay again!
Our 2nd visit to Storws, both holidays equally excellent. The property is a perfect fit for us and is beautifully presented. The owners were welcoming, helpful and attentive. There was a welcoming pack waiting for us most useful the star of which was the homebaked barra brith thank you Elen & John
Sergey
Amazing cottage in a fantastic location! The owners are amazing too very friendly, always ready to help if anything was needed. Location is fantastic. The cottage itself is immaculate. Many thanks to the owners, John and Elen. Highly recommend.
Had a fantastic time at the barn conversion, no expense has been spared by the owners in creating a fabulous property, it is very spacious & has everything you'd need for a countryside getaway, the surrounding areas are outstanding, countryside, mountains & close to the beaches as well, highly recommend this property, hosts are amazing & nothing was too much trouble for them.
Carolyn
Excellent property with plenty of space for the whole family and the added benefit of a hot tub. Extra little touches were great such as eggs, butter and cake, plus it was decorated for Christmas and a cot, highchair and baby gate we're also provided for our stay. Kitchen well equipped too. The property is only 10 minutes from Beaumaris or Red Wharf Bay or Pili Palas for the little one and Panton Arms just down the road. Lots of public footpaths nearby for walking too.
Michelle
Wow What a fantastic property. The owners were very friendly and were on hand if anything was needed. The property was spacious, modern and had everything needed for a truly memorable holiday. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening. On arriving the Christmas tree made it feel very welcoming and the cake and extras were also a pleasant surprise. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be returning. A property the owners should definitely be proud of.
Melissa
Excellent property. Really clean and well maintained. I love that you hadnt tried to cram as many rooms as possible into the property when you built it which gives the house a lovely sense of space and calm, exactly what you need from a holiday let!! Nice personal touches too like basic provisions and a home baked cake. Really thoughtful touches. Thank you. We will definitely be back to Storws.
We had a great week at Storws. The cottage was fantastic and the owners John and Elen very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and are very likely to be return visitors!!
Claire
Lovely property and lovely welcome from the owners

Samantha
We booked again for next year before we left! ! This cottage is beautiful, there is loads of space, the amenities are brilliant and it's impeccably clean. The cottage is located on a farm and our toddler loved the tractors, sheep and Clint the black labrador, who was really friendly. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and Gwen's cake was beautiful. She even left milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee to get us started. The location was ideal to explore Anglesey and North Wales. We would highly recommend this cottage.
Vincent
This a fantastic barn conversion, set in a lovely rural location. Extremely quiet at night and the road nearby is never busy. It is located well to allow you to explore the local villages, towns, beaches and some great restaurants nearby. Byclan beach is lovely, great parking and a good cafe there also. Red Wharf Bay is a short drive. Some great restaurants here. The Host's are both lovely, helpful and accommodating. Some nice touches also.
Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that ... Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that people are looking for homes like Storws because of the ground floor bedroom, which again Im presumeing that they are traveling with elderly parents as we were, it would be a plus if the patio in the kitchen opened to let more air in, but please be assured that Elen and John are really nice people and if you wanted anything they would do it for you, excellent property
