Storws Reviews

This has to be one of THE best places we have stayedand weve stayed in a lot The house is stunning and everything about it is of the highest quality. The location is great, very quiet but within easy reach of all you need. The hot tub was an added bonus.Wouldnt change a thing,we were really sad to leave. Thanks Elen and John.....great job.
Elen was so obliging and we will forever be grateful. One of us had a nasty fall at the cottage our fault and she went up and above the call of duty to assist. Thank you. The cottage was amazing, so spacious and welcoming. They have used top quality finishes throughout. The welcome was great and especially your beautiful cake. There is no doubt we will be returning in the future.
We have stayed at stores now for three years and every time we go Ellen and John make us feel really welcome. The cottages is really spacious for 5 of us who were there and my wife ,son and mum spent most nights in the hot tub which is in a great spot next to the cottage. Look forward to returning in the future great place to stay and explore wonderful Anglesey. Thanks again Ellen & John. Chris and family Nottingham

Cottage was perfect. Facilities were of a high standard and location was great for travelling around the area. Elen & John were easy to contact if we needed anything but otherwise left us to enjoy the property. Hot tub was a welcome bonus to enjoy after a day exploring Elena welcoming cake was very tasty & much appreciated. Loved having Celt visit for a belly rub in a morning. Cheered us up for the day. Highly recommended
We were warmly greeted and shown around the property. We weren't overwhelmed with dos and don'ts either verbally or written down, there were just one or two helpful pointers. Elen had left a lovely welcome pack of delicious cake and essentials. It is a spacious property, beautifully clean and with just the right amount of furnishings to make the property feel homely but without any concerns that there could be dust lurking! We felt at home staying in when it rained and there was a good range of books and games for us to enjoy. Elen suggested appropriate places we could visit with our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.
Dianne
Beautiful well maintained cottage. I am a clean freak and Storws was spotless. The owners have put a lot of thought into the detail and it has everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday.Owners are lovely people and the surroundings and animals are a bonus.Very quiet spot in the beautiful countryside made it perfect for the best sleep we have had in ages. Thankyou.
Cottage was amazing. Everything you could wish for. Hosts were very welcoming and Ellen's cake was delicious. All in all we had a great holiday. Norma George Ray and Joyce.

Lovely holiday home everything you need is there. Had the best holiday. Owners were helpful and friendly will definitely be booking again.
We throughly enjoyed our week's stay at Storws. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. We were blessed with lovely sunny weather and the hottub was the icing on the cake. Owners, John and Elen, were on hand if needed and extremely helpful, and Elen your cake was delicious
Tracey
We had a fantastic stay, Elen & John were fabulous hosts, there if we needed them. They showed us around their other property which we will stay in next time we visit Anglesey. The tea loaf waiting for us was beautiful. Thank you
Catherine
We have just had an amazing week at this property. The house was perfect for 6 adults. Spotlessly clean, great location for exploring Anglesey. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If you need a larger place to stay the adjoining property 'Sgubor is just as wonderful. I would recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Storws and it was everything we wanted & more! The location was perfect & central to all the places we wanted to visit. The weather wasnt the best but staying in such a big & beautiful accommodation meant we could keep 2 toddlers happy even on the rainy days. We will definitely be back to stay again!
Our 2nd visit to Storws, both holidays equally excellent. The property is a perfect fit for us and is beautifully presented. The owners were welcoming, helpful and attentive. There was a welcoming pack waiting for us most useful the star of which was the homebaked barra brith thank you Elen & John
Sergey
Amazing cottage in a fantastic location! The owners are amazing too very friendly, always ready to help if anything was needed. Location is fantastic. The cottage itself is immaculate. Many thanks to the owners, John and Elen. Highly recommend.
Had a fantastic time at the barn conversion, no expense has been spared by the owners in creating a fabulous property, it is very spacious & has everything you'd need for a countryside getaway, the surrounding areas are outstanding, countryside, mountains & close to the beaches as well, highly recommend this property, hosts are amazing & nothing was too much trouble for them.
Carolyn
Excellent property with plenty of space for the whole family and the added benefit of a hot tub. Extra little touches were great such as eggs, butter and cake, plus it was decorated for Christmas and a cot, highchair and baby gate we're also provided for our stay. Kitchen well equipped too. The property is only 10 minutes from Beaumaris or Red Wharf Bay or Pili Palas for the little one and Panton Arms just down the road. Lots of public footpaths nearby for walking too.
Michelle
Wow What a fantastic property. The owners were very friendly and were on hand if anything was needed. The property was spacious, modern and had everything needed for a truly memorable holiday. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening. On arriving the Christmas tree made it feel very welcoming and the cake and extras were also a pleasant surprise. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be returning. A property the owners should definitely be proud of.
Melissa
Excellent property. Really clean and well maintained. I love that you hadnt tried to cram as many rooms as possible into the property when you built it which gives the house a lovely sense of space and calm, exactly what you need from a holiday let!! Nice personal touches too like basic provisions and a home baked cake. Really thoughtful touches. Thank you. We will definitely be back to Storws.
We had a great week at Storws. The cottage was fantastic and the owners John and Elen very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and are very likely to be return visitors!!
Claire
Lovely property and lovely welcome from the owners
Adrian
Our second visit was every bit as good as our first. Elen & John are absolutely excellent hosts. Storws is a beautiful and comfortable base for anyone wishing to enjoy all north WalesAnglesey has to offer. Storws is the only holiday let we have used more than once and we will definitely return.
I would highly recommend Storws, the property was excellent and done to a very high standard. John & Ellen where lovely, the cake went down very well !! Mick & Liza East Sussex
Louisa
This is a beautiful home renovated to an exceptionally high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Samantha
We booked again for next year before we left! ! This cottage is beautiful, there is loads of space, the amenities are brilliant and it's impeccably clean. The cottage is located on a farm and our toddler loved the tractors, sheep and Clint the black labrador, who was really friendly. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and Gwen's cake was beautiful. She even left milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee to get us started. The location was ideal to explore Anglesey and North Wales. We would highly recommend this cottage.
Vincent
This a fantastic barn conversion, set in a lovely rural location. Extremely quiet at night and the road nearby is never busy. It is located well to allow you to explore the local villages, towns, beaches and some great restaurants nearby. Byclan beach is lovely, great parking and a good cafe there also. Red Wharf Bay is a short drive. Some great restaurants here. The Host's are both lovely, helpful and accommodating. Some nice touches also.
Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that ... Could do with a handrail outside down the steps, only because I presume that people are looking for homes like Storws because of the ground floor bedroom, which again Im presumeing that they are traveling with elderly parents as we were, it would be a plus if the patio in the kitchen opened to let more air in, but please be assured that Elen and John are really nice people and if you wanted anything they would do it for you, excellent property
Jennifer
Accommodation was luxurious, hosts were lovely very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We had a great time celebrating my 70th birthday. Would happily recommend it five stars
Stunning place to stay, loved every minute.
Excellent spacious property recently built to a very high spec. Helpful hosts living on site always interested to ensure everything was OK. Slight reservations when booking about it being semidetached but we didn't hear our neighbours once. Just perfect!
Victoria
We absolutely loved our stay at the storws cottage. It was a home from home, with a very comfortable nights sleep which was helped with the blackout blinds with the days getting longer. This was particularly helpful with having a baby to settle, in the early evening. The owners kindly made a cot available, which although we didn't need for our little one at this point was still appreciated. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and farmland which was perfect for us, as we enjoyed waking up to all the lambs out at present. The cottage wasn't far from most amenaties and the owners kindly left recommendations of places to eat and visit. Overall we felt very welcomed by the owners and we'll definitely be back!
The property was in spotless condition and included everything we needed . The owners were friendly and hospitable. The welcome pack included some delicious eggs and the best home cooked Bara Brith we have tasted to date. Although adjacent to a working farm it was peaceful and we were not disturbed. Lots of recently born lambs provided entertainment and cuteness in the fields opposite. Only minor niggle was the internet was slow and dropped out regularly.
Arabella
Super property with lovely welcoming hosts. Well positioned for access to Snowdonia, Caenarfon Castle and Angleseys wonderful beaches but far enough away so you have peace and quiet.
Shakil
A beautiful cottage set in a lovely quiet location, the decor was perfect and my family & I felt at home immediately. The hot tub was the highlight of our evening and even though the weather was cold and drizzly at times we made sure to use the tub every night. I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely consider booking this place again. Thank you very much to our hosts who welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and a big thank you for the cake and the welcome pack. Only thing I felt was missing was a light in the yard where the tub was.
Adrian
This was by far the best holiday property we have stayed in. The kitchen is very modern and contemporary with everything needed. The bedrooms are all very spacious with great ensuite facilities. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful. The surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet but still close to the major centres for shopping needs. We rate this accommodation as 5 and are looking forward to returning next year.
Beautiful cottage with beautiful setting. Owners lovely and very accommodating
Colleen
Having somewhere to stay that was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed was great. The house was fitted out beautifully and very tastefully done. It was a real pleasure to be able to stay here and probably the best place we have stayed in over the years. The owners were really friendly and very helpful too. We visited some lovely places both on Anglesey and around North Wales and the scenery was stunning. Would highly recommend and would love to go back.
Beautiful well present accommodation. Very quiet location. Very friendly hosts. Anglesey is such a beautiful place to visit. Would definitely recommend this holiday home 100

Owners were very lovely, house was really clean, tidy and comfortable. Had everything we needed, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back! The farm with the views and the sheep all around was great, our toddler loved the sheep! Thank you
