The Meadows Reviews

Lovely house, clean and tidy plenty of room. Amazing hot tub.
Really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Very clean and spacious. Lovely quiet location but only 5 mins from the local pub and shops. It was ideal for our family of 7 adults and 4 children. Lots of space both indoors and out for the children to have fun and the adults to relax and enjoy their stay.

We as a family had a wonderful time in your house Lovely large fully equipped kitchen Loved the down stairs bedroom, and toilet if there had been a shower even better, but we did no there wasn't a downstairs shower when we booked Beautiful bedrooms two had ensuite big and airy with beautiful views Enjoyed the hot tub Thank you for sharing your house with us
Spent my 50th with family and friends we had a nice relaxing time would highly recommended anyone to stay . .pub just down road so friendly can't wait to go back
Other than the front hedge needs trimming to a size where the traffic can be seen approaching, this property is 1st class. will recomend to anyone who asks
Caroline
Fantastic family holiday at The Meadows. The property is very well equipped and is great to use as a base whilst discovering Anglesey. The whole family enjoyed the facilities especially the table tennis and hot tub. Plenty of room for our family of 10.
Stephen
Our group of 8 had everything we needed for our stay. Some of us used the hot tub and played table tennis. The garage was ideal to store our bikes which we used to explore the whole island. The local Panton Arms was a great place to eat too. Just the one problem was with the intermittent WiFi.
Enjoyable stay lovely location
We had a lovely stay at The Meadow, everything was perfect and comfortable and very warm. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, there was everything we needed, the hosts were very kind in allowing us a late stay on Sunday which made for a relaxing time thankyou. The house is perfectly situated in Pentreath with easy access to anywhere on the island.and a very lovely walk down to the beach. We will use this house again thankyou again for a very welcoming stay
We loved our stay at The meadows , rooms were lovely and clean comfy beds . the whole house was beautiful , the few tiny issues we did have i addressed with the owner directly .didnt affect our holiday or stay we would stay again.
Just got back from celebrating my sons 30th. House was lovely and roomy. Hot tub was brilliant.
Amazing, spacious property, exactly as described. Group of ten celebrating an 80th family birthday, perfect location, 2 min walk to pub and chinese. Hot tub brilliant, highly recommend this property and great communication from Nina the owner who was most helpful!
Charlotte
Great cottage and great base to explore a beautiful area. Will recommend and will happily return.
The property is beautiful and was spacious enough for the 10 of us. Everything that we needed throughout the holiday was to hand. It was a great base for us to explore the sights of Anglesey. Would definitely return in the future.
Lesley
A lovely house which suited our extended family well. The only comment we would make is that the hot water was far too hot. potentially dangerous for small children.
Robert
The Meadows is a fantastic house in a quiet place. It swallowed 10 of us with ease. Plenty of space to run around in the garden. The Table Tennis proved very popular with the children. Everything was wonderful we never once wanted anything that we couldnt find, even compostable bags for food waste. It truly is a wonderful homely place to be. It helped that we were blessed with warm sunny days all week. June 2023.
We had a lovely break in the Meadows, there was everything that we wanted, from the age of 74 to 2yrs old
The Meadows was ideal for the 8 of us, exceptionally well equipped & an ideal location. There are a couple of minor areas that could be improved upon the single bed mattresses are not comfortable & 2 settees in the living room are worn & could do with repadding or replacing. Regardless of the slight negative aspects, we had a lovely time & woukd highly recommend the Meadows.
We had the most amazing week with our mum, nan and great nana. We celebrated her 90th birthday.
Catherine
This was an excellent base for our 3 generational family holiday plenty of space, warm, comfortable, well equipped and great the kids could be weaned off their computers to play table tennis and enjoy the hot tub when we were in. It's in easy reach of some exceptionally beautiful places beaches, castles, gardens and a wonderful part of the world for birds and wildlife on a walk through the woods we saw two red squirrels. Wonderful.
We had a great weekend. Plus points are Lots of parking Great layout in the house, plenty of space, bathrooms etc. Well equipped kitchen and utility Was really clean Close to the beach, pub and takeaway It was lovely and warm Things which could be better The oven wasnt great and the temperature wasnt consistent. We had planned to cook a roast on the Sunday but decided not too as we didnt think the oven was capable of it. The decorators turned up on the Monday after the weekend at 6.10am as the owners assumed we werent staying the final night. Hot tub was good, but has some parts which need securing. Our review would have been higher had the decorators not shown up.
Louise
The house was perfect for us as an extended family coming together to celebrate a family occasion really good layout and space to spend the time together, had everything we needed and the hot tub and table tennis were excellent extras! Owners were very accommodating and in a perfect location with lovely walks and a great pub 3 mins walk away. Had a lovely time, wished we could have stayed longer.
The property was in a great location and had really good facilities. Our only issue was with the 5pm book in which we feel is to late . Also as a large group we decided to pay more for our accommodation we did not expect to have to strip our own beds !!
The nice big house which ideal for family get together. Thought downstairs bedroom would be ideal for elderly parents but no shower or bathing facilities in downstairs toilet. Living room furniture could do with upgrade and tv lowering on the wall. Hot tub was nice
Jillian
We had a lovely holiday. Thank you
Kirsty
We stayed at the Meadows for a week in aug 2022. We are 2 families with 4 children and the property was brilliant and met all of our needs. The owner has thought of everything to ensure you have a comfortable home from home stay. The house is brilliantly located with lots to do around the area. I would 100 recommend staying at the Meadows and enjoying this beautiful house and location. You will not be disappointed.
Kathryn
Lovely, comfortable cottage for all 10 members of our family. Plenty of room and seating area in living room. Beds very comfortable. Felt it would benefit from a bigger fridge or an extra small fridge in utility room. We had lots of food that needed to be refrigerated. A few things looking tired sofas, ensuite shower. Overall we had a great stay, nice weather and nice beaches near by. Thanks
Ernest
This was a holiday for my wife and 1 plus our 3 children and 3 grandchildren for my 70th birthday. It was a nice house in a quiet area with easy access to some of Angleseys and North Wales best beaches and sites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Overall it was a positive experience.
Brendan
Lovely property. We as a family couldnt have asked for anything more. First time all 12 of us together. Great facilities, every little detail thought off from games room and activities for kids. All age groups enjoyed the jacuzzi. Big hit with all. The 3 year old asked can we come back next week.
The property is spacious, well furnished and equipped, and conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay.
Allison
