River Aeron Barn Reviews

Emma Roberts
Cozy place, spotless and really comfy!
Jamie
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage, perfectly situated between Aberaeron and New Quay. Both towns are fantastic to visit, with plenty of shops, cafesand pubs, plus boat trips from New Quay. The hot tub and fire basket were real highlights, making evenings really enjoyable. The only thing to note is that even though it’s close to Aberaeron, you’ll need the car to get into the town and find parking, especially if you're planning pub nights. Still, we’d definitely come back!
Emily
Loved the peaceful spot just outside Aberaeron. The barn was cosy with all we neededand the hot tub was a real treat, nicely kept!
Emily
Lovely, cosy stay

Emma
Honestly, this cosy little cottage surprised us! It’s surprisingly roomy inside, with two charming bedrooms-especially the upstairs one, which has a cracking view. The kitchen is super well-stockedand that welcome pack was a lovely touch. We couldn’t get enough of the big, comfy sofaand the hot tub was definitely the highlight. Perfect for unwinding under the stars with the family. The location is spot on too-quiet evenings despite being near the road, plus plenty of nice cafes and places to eat nearby. We’d definitely stay again!
Sarah
Beautiful cottage, super relaxing weekend-big thanks to Barry for making it special!
Emma

Great experience, definitely coming back soon!
Emma Jones
We loved the peaceful vibe with endless birdcalls and lush trees stretching around us. The hot tub was a real treat, kept spotless with regular care, which we appreciated. It’s a bit near the road, but the trees do a good job of muffling any noise-really relaxing stay!
Sophie
The property was just what we needed, clean and comfy with everything you could want from a home from home. The location was ideal for us, we were searching for somewhere quiet, a bit removed and secluded with nice places to walk and eat. We discovered a few local beaches too!
Sarah
We had a brilliant holiday! The property was restful and peaceful, just beautiful really. Barry was super helpful throughout our stay. Can't wait to come back (in fact we've already booked again).

What a lovely clean and well-appointed cottage! The beds and mattresses were top quality and so comfortable. Barry was really friendly and always around to answer our questions. The location is excellent for exploring the local area with lots of nice beaches to visit and places to eat within an easy drive. We would definitely recommend it!
Mark
What a lovely location, tucked away from the main road! There’s a bit of road noise, but it doesn't spoil the break. The hot tub was excellentand the bed was super comfy. We found the cottage to be really cosy. Barry is a great host, welcoming us on our first day and always available if we needed anything. There’s plenty to do nearbyand the garden is secure and enclosed for the dog, plus decent wifi!
Sarah
We absolutely loved our stay, it was so relaxing and the perfect escape from the busy life in London. The hot tub is just amazing and huge, my son didn't want to leave the water at all! The beds were really comfy too. Barry is such a great host, he let us feed Bessy the pig and made sure we had everything we needed. He even left us milk, breadand Welsh cookies on arrival, which was such a lovely gesture. There's loads to do for everyone. We can highly recommend this place! Thank you, Barry.
Rachel
We had a perfect holiday in every way! The location was fantastic and the hot tub was such a lovely treat after our long walks and cycling adventures.
Lucy
What a fantastic cottage! It was just perfect for our family getaway. We would definitely highly recommend it to others.
Martin
Perfect cottage! Clean and full of everything you could possibly need amenity wise. Tranquil and peaceful with an added bonus of the hot tub being able to relax and watch the stars, 5min drive to the coast and local shops and also close to new quay and Aberystwyth. Would totally recommend and cant wait to go back.
Emily
We had a fantastic time in the hot tub, especially with the stunning dark sky views at night. It was so peaceful, even though we could occasionally hear some traffic from the nearby main road. The beds were comfy, but those waterproof sheets were just awful. The kitchen really had everything we neededand the cottage was spotless overall. Underfloor heating was a nice touch! We did think the cottage could use some curtains in the bedroom and the sofa in the lounge was a bit uncomfortable. Still, the outdoor seating was goodand Barry, our host, was so thoughtful, providing a lovely welcome pack.
Julia
Aberaeron is beautiful! The cottage, hot tuband location are amazing. Barry is a lovely host, always just a phone call away if you need anything. And we can't forget about Bessie the Pig. We would definitely recommend River Aeron Cottage.

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
