The living area offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring ample seating perfect for snuggling up with loved ones. Enjoy a night of movies on the Smart TV while the glow of the electric fire and wonderful river views set the scene for a truly relaxing evening in.

The lodge offers two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a twin. The double bedroom benefits from an en-suite, featuring a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail for added comfort.

The twin room is furnished with a single and a large single bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements to suit your needs. A separate bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, serves the rest of the accommodation.

Step outside onto the enclosed veranda, where you can relax on the outdoor furniture with a view of the river while enjoying a good book or a refreshing drink. For an added touch of indulgence, take a dip in the sunken hot tub and soak away the stresses of everyday life.

This lodge truly offers a serene retreat in the heart of west Wales. Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
National Botanic Garden of Wales - SA32 8HN

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.

The castle one of the areas most iconic landmarks and features an amazing 75ft high Great Tower! There is also a Picnic area and plenty of open space for children to run around in the grounds and gardens. The site also has a cafe and a gift shop.
