Staniforth Lodge Reviews

Raymond
The place itself was great. Well equipped, clean and very friendly staff.
Matthew
Other than points already mentioned no negatives at all.
Adnan
Everything was fine except that we were unable to use the hot tub for several days due to a technical problem. The management of the place is wonderful and helpful

Wow... Wow.. Wow! Staniforth Lodge was above and beyond anything I expected. The picture on line do not give the house justice! The house was so well presented and had everything you needed. The staff were lovely and friendly too. I was here for my Hen Weekend and everyone was impressed with the house. We all had an amazing time and we have lots o f photos around the property and inside to remind us of our great stay here. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be going back.
Alison
This was a beautiful property. We were very comfortable, especially the beds. There were only 9 of us and we only used 6 of the 8 bedrooms but, even with the maximum occupancy there would still be plenty of room. The jacuzzi was a bonus. The grounds are lovely and the covered outdoor seating was well used by us, particularly as it rained heavily a few times. Plenty of parking in the courtyard. Local shop closed but one in Tregynon was 5 mins by car.
Chris
This is a beautiful, spacious, and very well equipped place to stay. Each bedroom was huge and had ensuite with bath and/or shower. It was immaculately clean throughout, and was plenty of space for our party of 12. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ample surrounding grounds were really nice, and it was just a short drive to nearby Newtown w hich is a nice town with all the amenities you could need including a large Tesco & Morrisons, and a Burger King & McDonalds if thats your thing
Susan
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL LODGE. Perfect for our mums 80th birthday weekend celebrations. A cozy warm clean lodge and never feeling cramped. Everything was top quality towels, bedding, crockery etc. The grand table hosted us all together which was a bonus. The rooms all en-suite were comfortable and everywhere was spotless. The sauna and hot tub just pe rfect for all ages. The grounds were brilliant for walks with the dogs and a local pub 100 meters away. Thank you for a perfect weekend
Vanessa
From the minute we stepped through the door we fell in love with this place. It's absolutely stunning but also so welcoming. It really has the wow factor! Spotlessly clean everywhere, brilliantly equipped with everything we needed. Bedrooms/bathrooms were gorgeous, everything looked brand new. 14 of us were here 4 nights over Christmas. It could no t have been more perfect. The surrounding area is beautiful too. Everything was so well looked after. Wonderful memories were made. Thank you so much!
Zoe
Amazing 8 bedded house. 6 doubles and 2 twin rooms - twin beds were large. All rooms beautifully decorated and very comfortable with en suites. Hot tub and sauna both lovely. BBQ under cover so if you do get a bit of rain you can still sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Fully recommend.
Saema
Both the lodges were perfect for our group of 16 with a baby. Both elders and children enjoyed their stay with breakfast in the from porch, walks on the ground and just the general family time spent together. The beds were very comfortable. The star of the stay were the jacuzzi and the pool table / table tennis which were in constant use . We would definitely come back. Thanks
William
Perfect for a extended family holiday. Each room with its own en-suite was a bonus and the hot water supply was reliable. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Shami
Lovely place and would definitely think of coming back again.
David
Excellent property. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I think I speak for all 6 families who spent the 3 nights there.
Heather
An absolutely delightful stay - can't recommend it highly enough. The sauna and hot tub are a real bonus and for a group I'm not sure you could do much better - especially if chef Steve cooks a BBQ for you and you book the weather we had!
Ian

Beautifully decorated for Christmas and log fire glowing as we arrived. Champagne and chocolates left for us. The rooms were all spacious and well decorated. Constant hot water and great bathroom facilities. We'll stocked kitchen/dining ware of good quality. We wanted for nothing and would love to come again at some time.
