We had the most incredibly relaxed stay Unfortunately we didn't have great weather but the scenery and hot tub more than made up for that. It was great to be provided with bath robes too. Tack Cottage was the perfect retreat following our wedding. Peaceful, beautiful location with the most amazing view and garden. Our dog had the time of his life roaming around; as he's reactive, the garden and secure field were absolutely perfect for him and so relaxing for us too. Beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere (although there is an excellent pub within walking distance that does superb food!). Peaceful, quiet, well-equipped - clearly a lot of thought has gone into this cottage, and apart from the rubbish weather we had a lovely time. Hot tub was perfect, even in the rain, and Caroline the property manager was ex cellent. Garden is good but not fully dog-proof, so you need to keep an eye on them. Enclosed dog field is useful, but again not dog-proof.

B ed was soft and so comfortable. Gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop the dogs was fabulous. Lots of cooking pans and dishes, with corkscrew.

Thank you so much to the Tack Cottage team. We were immediately made to feel welcome on arrival and enjoyed being invited to watch the pet sheep being sheered. The cottage itself is beautiful and is set in the most amazing surroundings (I didn't have to move the car whilst we were there as we could walk to the pub).
