What an amazing place to stay. The house was clean comfortable and very well equipped with high quality items. The hot tub was fantastic. Even though it was a "dog friendly ' property, on arrival it smelt fresh and clean, which cannot always be said of properties these days. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage... Everything available for you. Stair gate was a good idea, stopped my dogs from trying to come upstairs.. Washing machine was a good touch too especially on a rainy day. Bit far for me to walk to the beach because of my walking difficulties, but a beautiful home from home.

The only tiny negative with the house was the insects & debris from the vines over the outside table & chairs. Would probably be better removing vines & putting a parasol in the table for shade. The property is beautifully furnished and is well equipped. It is very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there for a weekend. Dog friendly small secure garden. The hot tub is very clean and comfortable for 4 of us. The front driveway is quite small and awkward to get onto but didnt cause a real problem but maybe would with large cars. There is a g ood walk down into the town but a gradual uphill walk back which may need consideration to some.

Fern House definitely has the WOW factor, when you step inside the front door you can see how much care has been taken to decorate to a high standard, and Mary has equipped the property with everything that you need. The hot tub is one of the best we have had and we even made use of it in the sleet! The Christmas tree and welcome tray were a wonder ful surprise and certainly made the holiday extra special. When we approached the property we were slightly disappointed by the outer appearance only to be very pleasantly surprised by the interior. It is lovely to stay somewhere that has all the comforts we have at home and Fern House has them in spades. There was a very welcome welcome pack milk and biscuits that is a lovely touch. It was a little too fa r for us to walk into the town so we went by car each day and that was the only thing that we found restricting. The parking spot is a little tricky.

This is our second visit to this lovely self catering accommodation. Lovely spacious comfortable and open plan with quality kitchen equipment. Secure garden for dogs. Superb private hot tub. Good supply of towels. Its a bit of a stroll into town or to the beach, about 20 mins slow walk to either. So if you could move your house closer to the sea th at the only suggested improvement is would make. Had a great relaxing week with friends and our cockapoo.

The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY

about 12 Miles

This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October. The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals. If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust. We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.

Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW

about 15 Miles

Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk. This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld. Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.

This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit. New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure. Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area. The secret animal garden is also popular. You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish. At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN

if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.

We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals. Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.
