Absolutely lovely holiday. Riber house had everything we needed. The views were amazing. We had a walk down to Matlock from the house which wasnt too far, the walk back up was strenuous but fun. Not to missed is the hot tub on an evening when the light goes down. Would highly recommend this lovely house, fabulous for a large family getaway.
Richard
A fabulous place to stay at and explore the southern section of the Peak District. The house served us very well - spacious, high standard and fitted out extremely well. We all felt very comfortable there and the views from the lounge are outstanding. Riber House is high on a hill so the trek there on winding narrow roads and tracks can prove daunt ing. Once you arrive you realise it is all worth it. The owners are nearby and can be called upon should the need arise and they are very welcoming.
Ian
Everything in the property is to a high standard. Views to Matlock and beyond are lovely. The location and property are top class. Teso will do online deliveries. So no need to haul your own food and drink. Overall, would recommend this property for adult only and families with children. Fantastic base to explore the area. FIVE STAR.

Abigail
What a fabulous house & a great place for a hen party or big gathering. Everything has been done to a high standard inside & out & we had a great time. There are plenty of bathrooms & the option to make some of the double bedrooms twins was perfect for our group. The private road up there is a bit dicey in the dark or when the cows have squeezed th rough the fence & are in the middle, but all our cars managed it (I wouldn't want to do it in bad weather). But, overall, this place is amazing.
Janet
We had a fantastic week in this beautiful house. As a party of 14 there was plenty of space for spending time together and relaxing. The views across Matlock are stunning. There is so much to do in the locality to suit all tastes and ages. The hosts are amazing and extremely helpful. A truly memorable holiday
Carol
Beautiful spacious house, tastefully, decorated with super comfy beds. We had a fabulous weekend for a 50th birthday.
Kathryn
A perfect venue for our birthday celebrations. We stayed for a long weekend with family and friends and had a lovely time. The house is decorated to a very high standard and is very spacious and comfortable inside, ample room for all of us. Views from the lounge window looking down onto Matlock and surrounding countryside are superb. The pool table and hot tub were enjoyed by all and a real treat. Have already recommended the house to others and would happily book another stay.
