Lovely quaint cottage with lovely modern bathrooms. Quiet and peaceful location with lovely views but not too far away from Longnor, Buxton and Bakewell. Garden was amazing, well kept and the dog loved it. Hot tub was an added bonus.
Emma
Fantastic cottage in quiet location but with easy access to all the attractions in the area. Our dogs loved the large private garden and the hot tub got a lot of use after those long hill walks!
Tracy
What an amazing cottage, with a fantastic setting slap bang in the middle of the countryside, with beautifully kept large gardens and away from main roads. The house itself did not disappoint with its 3 double bedrooms and modern kitchen and bathrooms. Ideally located to lots of days out not more than 15-30 minutes away.
Carol
Beautiful cosy cottage in a gorgeous setting with spectacular views which we enjoyed especially from the hot tub (a great bonus). Our puppy loved the large garden.
Lucy
Lovely cottage and grounds, great location

Absolutely lovely position with fine views and lots of privacy. Only neighbours were the Llamas next door! The cottage was very well equipped with everything and more. Great coffee machine. Lovely well maintained enclosed garden which our dogs loved.Ideally situated to some stunning walks and within east driving distance of Bakewell, Buxton, Ashbou rne etc. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Kara
We booked The Cottage for my mother in laws birthday, she has always wanted to stay in a picture perfect cottage in the country side and this property ticked every single box. It was clean, comfortable, cosy - especially with the wood burners on! Everything you may need has been thought of. Its in a very quiet location to relax and take in the incr edible views, but with pubs, supermarkets a not too far 15-20 min drive away. It was a wonderful weekend and The Cottage made it perfect.
Helen
Lovely cottage and location. Only downside was that the garden wasnt enclosed despite the description on Holiday Cottages.
Gary
Enjoyed our family time, celebrating younger daughters 30th. Great location with superb views and thoroughly enjoyed hot tub time late afternoon with a couple of great sunsets. What a treat! Beautiful cosy cottage, well equipped, great kitchen, with comfy beds and good showers. Visited Bakewell, Ashford in the Water, Buxton, Monsal Head and enjoyed walks in Longnor, Monsal Trail and two cycled (with dog in tow) along Tissington Trail. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and the cottage.
John
A lovely well appointed cottage in a convenient location for many enjoyable walks. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with a super garden that was safe for our dog. There were some lovely goodies awaiting us in the kitchen and the owners had clearly thought carefully about the needs of their guests, so we would highly recommend!
Graeme
Lovely house in the High Peak. Beautiful views from the garden and hot tub. Really well equipped and cosy with the woodburner in the living room (and dining room although we didn't use this one). Would definitely recommend for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle - lovely walks from the cottage. Sadly the only pub in Longnor is curr ently closed (Nov '22).
Marie
The perfect cosy cottage. Really well equipped. Owner is great at communicating. Hot tub a lovely perk!
Karen
A fabulous cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. Very well equipped, clean, with extremely comfortable beds. Plenty of space for your for legged friend to run around in the beautifully kept gardens.
Amy

Jacqueline
This is a lovely cottage beautiful location with everything you need, comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend
Allison
We have had a lovely stay. Our 2 year working cocker spaniel loved the cottage and the garden. The owners have done a great job with making the cottage so 'cottage cosy' with some welcome modern features & high end decor - but keeping the real charm of the cottage. Pictures on this site - do not do justice. Stunning views. For us the location lacke d good walks from the door as the foot path signs did not go anywhere! Access to the cottage is a single track with no passing places.
Gillian
Beautiful cottage , perfect location. With lots to see and do . Cottage was clean and cozy . Lovely bathrooms all very clean and modern . We loved it and hope to return .
Melanie
What can I say, we didnt want to leave! The location is what sets this place apart from the rest and the views on the photos dont do it justice. The gardens are beautiful and extremely well kept. The cottage is completely private with a huge front garden where the children played badminton and rode their bikes up and down the drive. The hot tub was something else with breathtaking views. Wonderful appliances, fixtures and fittings inside too. We loved it and hope to return. Thank you
Anne
Lovely secluded cottage. The gardens are extensive and hot tub a luxury. The road down to the cottage is single track with no passing places, we had to reverse back down it a couple of times to let other cars through. Well equipped for self-catering. We had a lovely stay and our grandchildren and German shepherd thoroughly enjoyed the garden. We lo ved the peace and quiet.
Adrianne
We had a lovely week at this beautiful cottage. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the stunning views.
Lisa
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage with the facilities such as the hot tub and amazing scenery. They thought of everything you could possibly need. This cottage is in a very secluded area which was perfect for us. The dogs also enjoyed having plenty of space to run about although it wasn't totally dog proof as one did escape under the gate.
Martyn
Great cottage in a very beautiful location. you really have wonderful views and no nearby neighbours. Cottage has all you need for a great week. Lots of walks and villages to explore near by. Hot tub always an added bonus, Everything so very clean.
Rachael
Really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed for a week for our honeymoon. Beautiful cosy cottage, very helpful owners who recommended some lovely places to visit in the area. It is located well, of course there are many amazing walks in the area, but there are some great activity centres in the area too for horse riding, quad biking, archery, shooting and axe throwing. Also got Alton Towers only 20mins away. Very quiet peaceful setting for at night after a busy day out exploring the area. Loved it!
Debbie
This cottage is an absolute treasure. The location is amazing. We had our first family holiday for ten years! We were able to take our little Shih Tzu, who had the time of her 10 yr life, on her first holiday, she actually completed the Dovedale Peak & Mam Tor. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday. We star gazed at 1am. Our granddaughter enjoyed her dai ly chats with the sheep & horses. We visited Tagg Lane Dairy, which is the best ice cream weve ever eaten. We played golf. We hired bikes. Exhausted!
Jayne
Quite countryside location with lovely views from the cottage and garden. Buxton, Leek, Chatsworth etc. all within short drive.
Lorraine
Beautiful cottage and surroundings. We had a family get together and it was the perfect setting, especially with the amazing hot tub!! Plenty of parking. Fully equipped kitchen.
Jacqueline
A beautiful cottage in a very quiet rural area but not far from the village of Longnor. Harrington a bit further but fabulous cheese shop. The garden is large and we really enjoyed the hot tub with its wonderful views of the surrounding fields and countryside. The beds are comfortable and the showers / bath are modern and clean. We drove to the Roy al Oak pub and had lunch outside in the sunshine, lovely food and friendly staff.
Delyth
Amazing cottage in a lovely rural location. Perfect to get away from it all, but close enough to visit Bakewell, walk The Dragons Back, Mam Tor and Jacobs Ladder. Only ten minutes away from the start of the Tissington trail and High Peak Trail. The cottage has a bike store which is perfect and a hot tub to soak tired muscles after a days adventure. We had an amazing week stay. We were two adults, two 14 year olds and a Jack Russell! It was perfect!
Jenna
Thank you for a lovely stay we were blown away by your amazing cottage and scenic views. We thought the cottage was very well equipped and the welcome tray was a nice touch. The cottage was cosy, warm and a pleasure to stay in. Perfect location, as so much to explore around the area. Thank you.
Christopher
A great cottage and location for our first family holiday. We found the house was a home from home and had everything for holidaying with our little one (6 months old). We enjoyed the local area and did some lovely walks during our stay. The Hot tub and views were so relaxing! Well be looking to come back again in the future.
Donna
This is a fabulous cottage in the most gorgeous location. Feels remote but easy reach of shopping. Grocery delivery not a problem either.Cottage very well equipped ,comfy and cosy.Hot tub just the ticket after long walks. Recommend Three Shires Head, Lathkill, Manifold way but there are so many to choose from. Ice cream and coffee at Tagg Lane dair y is phenomenal. Visit Hartington for the cheese shop and the cheesy oatcakes at the little cafe. Thank you Jeremy for a wonderful holiday.
Hazel
Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful location plenty of places to visit and lots of walks Lunch at the Ye old Cheddar Cheese Pub in Longnor great home made food would highly recommend
Jane
we had a great stay in this cottage it is lovely everything is there its really cozy beds are comfy kitchen is amazing and has everything you want scenery is also amazing we hope to be back in the future
Sandra
A lovely Christmas spent at this cottage, the photos have made it look bigger than it really is but having said that it was very cosy and quant., Kitchen is to die for with everything you needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. Bedrooms very comfortable but no wardrobes, only hanging rails, and one room does not have a toilet so you have to go down stairs in the night. But we really did enjoy it some lovely views although it was foggy for a lot of the time, and only a short drive to Buxton

Alton Towers - ST10 4DB
about 13 Miles
Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park.  The rides range from thrilling to quite simply terrifying although there are more gentle family rides for the little ones.  All ages are catered for here.  Some of the most famoue rides include Th13teen, Air, The Blade and Nemesis.  There is also a waterpark on site for some splashtastic fun. Look out for seasonal events taking place throughout the year such as Wonderful Winter, Pirate Weekend and The Ultimate Fireworks Event.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and save money by booking your tickets online.
Gullivers Kingdom - DE4 3NT
about 15 Miles
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family.  From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal.  The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
Heights of Abraham - DE4 3PT
about 15 Miles
This unique attraction combines an array of activities.  If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about.  Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system.  You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views.  You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

This is a really unique opportunity to see the fantastic work going on at this centre.  The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.  Many of the animals are brought to the centre by members of the public or the RSPCA.  Visit their website to see the picture gallery and to find out how to help if this is something which interests you.  There are also regular fundraising events such as the Sponsered Leg Wax.

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire.  With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children.  The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.  Look out for offers on their website such as a free hot drink on select days.
