Bacheiddon Log Cabin Reviews

Lovely property. Great to escape!
This was our second stay in this fab lodge in the most amazing setting. Complete privacy for a lovely chilled week, with spectacular views. It was wonderful to open the curtains in the morning to the beautiful rolling hills with the sheep grazing a few feet away. The hot tub was very clean and wellmaintained and we had the perfect weather to make the most of it. The owner is handson, and a phone call away if needed, but we really couldnt fault anything. We had an amazing time, and cant wait to return. Thank you Bethan, we hope to see you again soon!
Found the whole experience from lounging to cooking sleeping to time in the hot tub. . absolutely Fabulous setting and location to other popular sights
An outstanding property in a wonderful setting! Well worth a visit! We have been to a number of log cabins and this was definitely the best!

Excellent property. Spotlessly clean. High quality fixtures and fittings. Peace and tranquility with amazing views from all around. Large hot tub . Lovely host.
Perfect Cabin in the perfect location, peace and quiet with breathtaking far reaching views.
We had the best time loved every minute and would definitely book again
Absolutely stunning one off the best log cabins we stayed in 100 going back again
Fantastic stay. It had all we wanted for a few nights getaway. The owners were very helpful and supportive as well. Highly recommended.
Fantastic holiday, really quiet and relaxing. Very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub with stunning views of the valley. We also loved watching the sheep being rounded up with great skill and the calves in the field at the end of the drive. Some being hand fed. We would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone that wanted a full relaxing holiday.
Beautiful log cabin with spectacular views. Four of us plus doggie had a fab short break. I was pleasantly surprised that little extras were provided such as hand wash, kitchen roll, cleaning up items, as Ive stayed in plenty of places where there is nothing at all. In fact there was complimentary Prosecco and coffee, which was a lovely touch. Beds were extremely comfy and it was lovely and clean. We enjoyed it so much weve already booked to return later in the year for my daughters 30th.
Frances

What a lovely and beautiful place to stay. Everything you need is in the cabin. It was lovely and quiet and we really enjoyed our time there.
Beautiful property, thoughtfully kitted out. Amazing views.
Richard
Wow. Everything about this log cabin was just phenomenal. The location, the views, the cabin itself, the cleanliness, the hot tub, the scent of timber as you walk through the door, the wildlife, the decor... I could keep going! I was hesitant about booking this log cabin, it's nearly double our usual price range. But having experienced just a short weekend here which was sadly cut short by a day I can honestly say it was worth EVERY penny, and then some! You can tell the owners take immense pride in this cabin... Thank you so much for sharing it with us, we'll definitely be returning soon!
Beautiful cabin located in magnificent countryside. Would love to revisit again in the summer months hopefully stormfree.

Absolutely stunning. Loved our week stay there. So relaxing and cosy. Above and beyond excellent.
Our recent stay at Bacheiddon Log Cabin in Wales was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every aspect of our experience was simply impeccable. First and foremost, our host Bethan deserves a special mention. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Bethan went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. Her passion for ensuring guests have a fantastic experience was evident in every detail. The cabin itself was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cosy atmosphere created by the log walls and tasteful decor made us feel like we had stepped into a tranquil haven. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in its maintenance was apparent. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful hot tub. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Wales, soaking in the hot tub was a rejuvenating experience, especially after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The tub was wellmaintained, and the serene ambience elevated the experience to a whole new level. Communication with Bethan was seamless from the moment we booked until we checked out. Her prompt responses and willingness to assist with any queries or requests were greatly appreciated. It's evident that she takes pride in ensuring her guests have a stressfree and enjoyable stay. The location of Bacheiddon Log Cabin is a rare find. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views, the cabin provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a relaxing break with friends, this location caters to all. In conclusion, our stay at Bacheiddon Log Cabin was a delightful escape that exceeded our expectations. The combination of a welcoming host, charming cabin, inviting hot tub, and breathtaking surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Bacheiddon Log Cabin to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in the heart of Wales. Our sincere thanks to Bethan for making our stay so special we look forward to returning to this idyllic retreat in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The cabin itself is really well equipped. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have the hot tub ready to use at check in time. We were a little disappointed to have to wait until 9pm
Catherine
This was a perfect getaway for us, such a beautiful and peaceful location. The lodge had everything we needed and the lovely Bethan was at the end of a phone. The views from the hot tub were just amazing! There was lots to do within a 30 minute drive beaches, forests and even local gin! Thank you!

The lodge is perfect and has everything you need for a weeks stay. Stunning views, remote but accessible to some great walks and local towns. The lodge is fully equipped and the utility space and hot tub are perfect for coming back after a soggy walk! Thank you for such a brilliant stay!
Perfect get away to celebrate my 40th Birthday! We loved everything about our stay. Plenty to explore in the local area. We couldnt fault one thing about our stay. The views from the log cabin & hot tub are amazing! It was lovely to meet Bethan, who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. My husband, son, my pup Blu and myself. Was truly overwhelmed with the layout and design of the log cabin.. beautiful scenery, peaceful and really was breath taking. Everything are family needed was at the location, Thank you for the chance to stay in your log cabin and to see the work that you put in to build your dream. It is a truly amazing experience, also the lighting is absolutely perfect. Thank you, we will never forget. As I love Wales, I'm sure we will be back again.

Chose Bacheiddon log for our honeymoon & it did not disappoint. Bethan personally helped us to our destination when we got lost late at night & when we arrived she had left us complimentary champagne as a wedding gift! Great facilities in a beautiful location & you can see the time & effort Bethan & family have put into this, they've thought of everything! It is private & secluded so no fear of people disturbing you, thus it's a perfect getaway haven for couples or families. Thanks for everything Bethan & we'll definitely be back in the future. 1010 Charles and Theresa xxx
This is truly one of the most stunning and beautiful lodges I have ever stayed in. The wrap around views and tranquility except when you get the odd fighter jet doing a low level pass, a pretty cool plus point! is great for resetting from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lodge was clean and beautifully furnished, the views from the hot tub I miss already. It is ideally located for access to a number of great walks you can pick and choose the difficulty of hike! I'd recommend a beach walk from Tywyn to Aberdyfi and yomp through Halfren forest up to the source of the river Severn. We look forward to returning to Bacheiddon lodge again, in the not to distant future.
Christopher
We came back for a second time and can't fault anything whatsoever. The cabin is beautiful, tidy and has everything you need for your stay. The layout of the cabin is how I would design my own, the beds are extremely comfortable, the jacuzzi is utter perfection with the surroundings to go with it. We got to meet Beth and her husband this time round and they are an extremely lovely and friendly couple. It's a place where you can truly unwind and forget about work life, any worries and just enjoy life to the full. Thank you ever so much for another perfect stay and we will be back again next year! Absolutely fantastic return stay at Bacheiddon Log Cabin. We will undoubtedly be back for a 3rd visit soon. Sitting in the private hot tub with just miles of fields around watching the baby lambs running around and the Red Kites in the sky was just lovely. We loved the wood burner and the beautiful open space of the Cabin to relax in. The Cabin has a well equipped kitchen and two good size bedrooms with a modern bathroom with bath and separate shower. If you like luxury accommodation peace and quiet with a stunning 360 view this is perfect.
Thomas
Our first holiday as a family of 4 the cabin was absolutely perfect for us and the kids. Well equipped, thoughtful touches like having the fire ready to light really make the difference! Wonderfully cosy, even with deep snow outside. Hot tub views were gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

Amazing cabin in beautiful surroundings. Already looking forward to visiting in the Spring or Autumn.
We had a great stay at the cabin, the views are amazing and the cabin itself is spotless with all the ameneties you could need. The hot tub is a great way to enjoy the views of the hills, even in January! We will definitely be returning for another trip, I couldn't recommend it enough.
Daniel
Had a fantastic stay with beautiful views! The cabin is really homely and has everything you need! The hot tub was a lovely touch overlooking the Welsh mountains got windy at times, would be nice with some form of wind break on the left hand side looking out from the hot tub I know this would limit the views great location too! The owner had brilliant communication and couldnt do enough to help, will definitely be returning! Sensational stay!
Amazing place, great views very clean upon arrival. Amazing base to explore North and south Wales Great comms from the owners we had a lovely time
Darron
A very well presented, clean, comfortable and fully equiped cabin. Beautiful views and surrounding area. In our opinion, the reality was even better than that described in the brochure. If the oportunity presents itself, we will definitely return again in the future.
Charlie
Wow! What a holiday. We did not do too much partly because Bacheiddon Log Cabin was so wonderfully comforting! Photos do not do the place justice, you do not get the scale in the photos for how vast and big the mountain range is around you. There was plenty of space outside for our kids to pitch up a tent, run around, play games, go in the hot tub and all doing so with complete privacy. Not to mention that the cabin is beautiful to look at from the outside too. Internally it was clean, spacious and practical. The bed mattresses were perfect for our backs. The master bedroom window looks out across the distant mountain range and is delightful. The bathroom is generous offering both stand in shower next to a Bath Tub. Not to forget, there is a log burner in the living room for the colder nights. We used this once just for the sake of using it. But in the winter we would definitely have used it more. Our recommendations, however, is simply to include a full length mirror and offer a fly swatter. As the cabin does attract the bugs. The owner of the property came to visit and was extremely friendly and welcoming. She was the first owner in a long time to actually check up on us on our holidays. It was most appreciated and anything we needed was only a text away. The cabin location is great for walkers and people wanting to explore Wales. I would advise small families to do your research for things to do as most kid friendly places are 30 minutes away minimum. However, if they can walk, and you are interested in walking, there is a cute walk to the lake of Glaslyn just 2 Miles up the hill. Also for any plane lovers out there, you are near the Mach Loop which is spectacular. Overall, I cant recommend this property enough and we shall definitely be returning!
Just got back from an amazing week here. The pictures dont do it justice, the views are stunning and the cabin has everything you would need for the week! Location is remote but we visited lots of places within an hour that were kid friendly. My daughter loved the hot tub and the sheep being so close! Beds were comfy and the WiFi was good which we havent always had in other places so that was a bonus. Highly recommend!!
Natalie
The property is stunning! Combined with the awesome views, you couldn't ask for more. Everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing break is there. The property is immaculate and extremely well presented. The little touches really make it feel utterly special. We will definitely be back and very soon.
