If you want to get away from it all then Brynderwen is the perfect spot....no noise (except for the occasional sheep bleat!), expansive rural views across beautiful hillsides, red kites circling overhead and the best starry sky you can imagine. You can have car free days enjoying the garden views and (muddy!) Owain Glyndwr Trail running very close Read moreby. The house itself is beautifully restored, classy yet comfy, with lots of natural wood and stone. The outside covered table tennis is a real bonus, as is the hot tub when you have the time to stoke it up. All the family loved it here and we made memories that will last a lifetime Hide

Beautifully placed in remote Valley, only one other house could be seen from the property (a mile away on the other side of the valley). Stunning property, real home from home. This place is truly food for the soul. Its down a proper farm road, so winter/ snow access could be fun ! It's about 1km to the nearest main road. Would go again at the dropRead more of a hat. Good fishing a few miles down the road at Blue Bell campsite. (A458) Hide

Brynderwen was the perfect holiday destination for us. The cottage is situated in the heart of Wales with lovely views and no close neighbours apart from the cows and sheep. Everything we needed was there and more. The basement TV room was a great extra as the children often went down there to watch Netflix in the evening. We had a few matches of tRead moreable tennis and the bbq amd hot tub had good use too. There is plenty to do in all directions, we did waterfall walks, the beach, snowdon and steam train rides, with plenty more we didn't have time to do. It's the perfect getaway for families, friends or couples whether you want to explore or relax and hopefully we will be back. Hide
