Lovely clean cottage , luxury thick towels and soft silky sheets. We have used a wood fired hot tub before , so had no issues getting it going and keeping it toasty. Very nice location, little bit of traffic noise , but we hardly noticed after two nights.
Trevor

Philip
Nicely presented cottage in a great central location for exploring both Shropshire and North Wales. The secret garden is very secure for dogs and the hot tub was a firm favourite! One thing to note is O2 mobile signal is almost zero! Thankfully the wifi is decent. This was our second visit which is a good indication of how highly we rated this plac e!
Steven
Our small family had a wonderful week at Malt Kiln Cottage. The property is clean, well-equipped and beautifully maintained. The wood-fired hot tub was the highlight of our stay, meaning that we spent most evenings soaking in the garden. Whittington itself is a lovely village with the castle and The Olde Boote Inn just a stones throw from the cotta ge; we had the best roast dinner I can remember at the pub on the Sunday. Thoroughly recommended; we could easily have stayed for 2 weeks.
Jolande
We were welcomed by the very nice owner of the property. She was very helpful. The cottage was quirky but very nice and cosy. The surroundings were wonderful. We've had an excellent stay at Malt Kiln Cottage, and would love to go back some time.
Dennis
This was an excellent cottage, well equipped and comfortable. Friendly owner. Central location for visiting a number of local attractions. Good pub just down the road. Traffic noise could be a problem at times.

What a lovely little cottage in the best location - the village with its own 12th Century moated castle! Easy to get everywhere. Lots of lovely places to explore. Small enclosed garden which is a little sun- trap later on in the afternoon. Highly recommend
Alan
Fab place. Nice and clean. Well presented. Loved the castle. Think we went every day. And well placed for getting to loads of great places
Patricia
Had a lovely stay. Hot tub takes a bit of work but well worth it in the end. We sat in it while it rained as no shelter over it but pulled the cover over our heads. Lovely location, beds super comfortable and cottage spotless. Shout out to the narrowest Inn as we turned up a bit lost and bedraggled and the lovely barman and patrons offered to run u s back in the car The local chips shop is amazing, food delicious and very reasonably priced.
Pauline
The cottage is lovely for a break to explore the local area. Beds comfortable and all very clean. Well equipped for all you need. TV great too with having access to lots channels. Car port can be a little tight for entering and reversing from if you have a larger car. Didnt use hot tub was too cold and wet to get it going with being a wood burner. Welcome pack a nice treat.
Gail
Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and furnished with everything we needed and more. We loved the hot tub and really appreciated the wood store available to fire up the tub. Only minor point to note is that the back garden is accessed down a long, narrow pathway and isn't visible from the cottage at all. Nice to be secluded but a bit difficult f or us as we couldn't monitor our dog outside unless we went out with her. Garden seemed secure but couldn't take a the chance.
Berenice
We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this gorgeous cottage. It was clean, well-equipped, and warm. Communication with the owners was excellent. The cottage is well situated in a stunning little village, and although the hot tub took a while to warm up, once it was ready, it was well worth it. The beds were really comfortable and we felt at home. Than k you for letting us stay in such a beautiful cottage.
Philip
A delightful and spacious cottage, well equipped and convenient in every way. The location was excellent in a village with a shop and several eating places. Access to main roads and places of interest were easy but the actual location of the cottage was very quiet.
Jonathan
Location was very good for chip shop, pubs, local shop and close to Oswestry. Very cosy front room. My dog loved the garden and enjoyed her walks very much. Overall a lovely break which we really needed. Very nice owners.
Kirsten
