We had a fantastic stay at Oaklea Cottage! The location is ideal for exploring both the local area and further afield, with plenty of amenities in Sedgefield. Judith was such a thoughtful host, greeting us with a lovely welcome pack and keeping in touch during the week with helpful tips. The cottage itself was super comfyand the private garden was perfect for soaking up the sun. Thanks so much, Judith, for making our holiday special! We’d definitely come back.
Emma
We had a lovely stay at the cottage! It’s really spacious and super clean, which we appreciated. The countryside views from the back are stunning and definitely a highlight. The beds and sofas were comfyand the shower worked a treat. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of crockery, so no complaints there. The only downside was the main TV’s reception - it kept cutting out and wasn’t great for music. Still, the location is perfect for exploring the village and nearby amenities. Overall, we’d come back!
Emma

Big Sheep - EX39 5AP

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
