Such a relaxing little getaway! Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was fabulous and the beautiful countryside was so calming. IF we had to be super picky some of the photos of the outside could do with updating as unfortunately, there was no outdoor shower as in the pictures on the website. Would 100 recommend, the hosts were super lovely too, can't wait to be back!!!
Had a great time when we stayed and very welcoming only a minor thing was the ... Had a great time when we stayed and very welcoming only a minor thing was the fridge was a bit small and was freezing the contents
Jacqueline
The first thing we noticed was that the Pod had been moved from it's original site on the photo. The site it was now situation on was enclosed with fencing which made it very private which was great however, it didn't have the shower outside which could be used to shower before and after using the Hot tub. The step into the hot tub was very unstable when getting in and out. This was probably due to the slate covering the whole surface being uneven. The Pod itself was lovely, my only criticism was that the way it was facing had no light into the living area at all. We had to put lights on all day and it still wasn't very bright. The bedroom which had a dividing wall was beautiful and light all day because it had a sky light letting the light in. The property was nice and clean and well equipped.
Lovely setting, private and peaceful. It is a 'micro' lodge so be prepared for the lack of room, however, it is well equipped with crockery, utensils, tea towels, towels, washing up liquid, etc. There is a single cooking plate but would have been better getting rid of the useless breakfast bar and rejigging to fit in a proper hob. With this in mind you have to be organised with what you're doing for meals. The nearest shop is a drive away or eat out. The bed was comfortable, so looking at past reviews they have addressed this with a mattress topper. The hot tub is now fully enclosed and private, although they have given in to putting a roof over it which, for me, spoilt the experience of gazing up to the stars. My only real beef throughout the stay was the lack of WiFi, there is wifi but you can't connect to it at all, not to sit endlessly on my phone, enjoyed the break from it, but to not have emergency contact with children if needed was a big negative.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very private and the grounds were beautiful, only downsides for us was there was no service in the room and there wasnt a lot of space for us to keep our things but apart from that it was amazing. We met the owners and they were both lovely and very welcoming to us, I would recommend this place to anybody, it was lovely.
Exquisite little micro lodge in a really rural and quiet location. Perfect for a romantic stay away from all the hustle and bustle of normal day life. Trevor was a Gent of a host and we were left alone to enjoy the peace and tranquility
Alfred
Wonderful place for a short escape from reality. Private and intimate. Perfect
Lovely place to stay, staff and owners great. Had a perfect stay, thank you
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was lovely to see the new year in whilst staying in reflection. The location was beautiful and was such a relaxing environment. Not a bad thing to say, 3 nights wasnt long enough we didnt want to come home. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a fab stay at the reflection we had the perfect weather to enjoy the hot tub. The only small down fall was the mattress is un comfy & wifi is only accessible outside but thats no big issue when your getting away from it all. We would definitely book here again.
We had a great time at reflection great location, just a few tweeks to this cabin would take it from very good to amazing . . a new mattress is badly needed as it is so worn the springs jag through lol and maybe some blinds on the french doors to stop the light coming in morning, and possibly even the slightest bit of wifi would be ideal , ut other than these minor things its an amazing cabin with great facilities and a perfect location its rural enough for peace and quiet but a 20 min drive from the town centre we will definitely visit again thanks

Me and my husband stayed for 3 nights. Amazing microcabin. Very clean and tidy. It is smaller than it looks on the pictures, we wasn't able to use the 'breakfast bar' as a small fridge in now under it. I think that area would be better used as storage and a fold down table be located under the TV as there is a storage box shelf there. Private hot tub is now completely screened off and a chimney with firewood provided. The grounds are large and you're free to walk around, and you walk out thr drive and go on some beautiful walks. As you arrive the property it can be felt that you're in someones back garden, however the grounds are so large you can completely relax and not see anyone after arrival. The owners Trevor and Danielle were fantastic and went through everything when we arrived. An added bonus they have 2 beautiful dogs that are friends and love a cuddle. If you are extremely tall or require any additional room as this is a micro cabin you may not be as comfortable as this beautiful cabin can provide. Would highly recommend staying here.
Just arrived back from a 3 night stay at Reflection for our wedding anniversary. Had an amazing few days relaxing in the hot tub, going for country walks and snuggling up in the evening with a film. The reflection is a lovely little cosy home from home and had everything you would need for a break away. Whilst there we also enjoyed a day out to Carlisle and a trip to Gretna Green which are both nearby. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful place, and property felt like a home away from home will hopefully be back in the near future

We have returned home from a few nights staying in this property. First impressions wow. Beautiful settingscenery. The property is set above a beck, just sat outside listening to the water was so calming and relaxing. Hot tub was ready for us on arrival. Complementary bottle of fizz! The owners were so welcoming and friendly. River Esk 30 minute walk which is beautiful! We also visited Gretna Green which was only 10 minutes drive away. All in all very enjoyable stay. Zero signal though but we actually enjoyed switching off.
Me and my husband recently stayed here for our honeymoon and wow! What a beautiful unique place! So tidy and cosy! Yeah its on the small side but it's not supposed to be a huge mansion, it was just right! Trevor and Danielle are so lovely and welcoming! We even had a little gift of a bottle of bubbly which was a lovely touch! The beds are super comfy, best few nights sleep we've ever had! I know people say they look forward to their own bed but honestly we miss this bed! The hot tub was heated for our arrival and it was amazing sat in the hot tub on the night looking into the beautiful night sky! There's no signal and poor Internet connection but we didn't care, we was there to enjoy each others company and to take in the surroundings! There was coffee, milk and sugar available for us and also hot chocolate and marshmallows to enjoy by the chimnea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we couldn't recommend 'reflection' enough! And we definitely want to stay again! Thank you for an amazing and memorable honeymoon!

The property was lovely for a short stay, due to its size we wouldnt have wanted to stay longer than three nights. It would have been better if the portable hob provided had two rings rather than just one, although there is not much room to cook anyway. We loved the hot tub and the chiminea and the little details like the outside lights. We didnt use the decking as it was a bit green some is expected due to the area but it did look like it hadnt been cleaned for a while. The wifi didnt reach Refelction, however this wasnt a massive deal for us as we were looking for a bit of a break from the outside world. Overall we had a really lovely stay, it was comfortable and in a beautiful setting which is what we wanted.
Aleksandra
Amazing place to stay for a vacation, the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, they picked us up from carlsisle which was a huge relief as we were worried about our travel, they lent us their electric bikes so that we could explore and told us about interesting places to visit, couldnt be happier with our stay there. 1110
We had a lovely 3 night stay at reflection, the perfect break away to unwind and relax. Everywhere was spotless and we couldnt fault it.
Kamila
Lovely place, really private and relaxing! Perfect little getaway. Has everything you need and the hot tub was lush. Owners were really accommodating when we were running really late and explained perfectly how to get to the place. Definitely recommended!!
Daniel
Had a lovely stay very relaxing would definitely stay again
Georgia
Lovely stay with a lovely cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would have been better if there was a cover over the hot tub as it was very windy and cold. Also there is no blind on the french doors so it didnt feel private as you could see the bed from outside.
Loved staying here! So relaxing. Can't wait to visit again soon!
Really lovely welcoming owners who made it clear they were approachable, but also really respected our privacy. A superb stay from start to end. Hidden gem.
Rebecca
A lovely gem for a threenight break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Kayleigh
We had a lovely break staying at Reflection. The location is great, clean and the facilities were exactly what we needed. Thanks so much!
Reflection was fantastic and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Lovely little microhome, very private and an amazing decking area and hot tub. Very friendly staff and a nice remote location.
We are just back from a two night stay in Reflection. WOW, what a wonderful place to relax and refuel. The staff and owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the facilities were everything we had hoped for and more. We would love to return again in the future. Thank you so much for an incredible break in paradise!
Richard
Most tranquil place I've ever visited. Reflection has it all. Absolutely perfect for our honeymoon, it's very private outside including the fantastic hot tub. Will definately return someday.
Would recommend Reflection to anyone! Absolutely lovely place and so relaxing! Thank you
Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Everything from the lodge to the grounds exceeded our expectations and the host were brilliant! We cant wait to return for another relaxing weekend away.
Amazing stay! Lovely, personal touch with the opportunity to use the 'the shack' to buyborrow treats without a trip to the shop! The only recommendation would be to have a shelter for the hot tub but I think this will happen soon!
The cottage was in a really welcoming, peaceful place and the owners were very friendly. Just 2 minute drive in to Longtown and 15 minutes from Carlisle. Would highly recommend this place if you are a couple looking for a peaceful break. Hot tub, chimenea, river on your doorstep, very private setting! Pubs and places to eat not far away at all. Tip Jump on the train and head to Edinburgh if you want to mix things up a bit. The only reason I have marked down 1 on comfort is purely due to the fact that the bed wasn't very comfortable, could maybe do with a new mattress But as i said before, me and my partner would very highly recommend this place, brilliant!
This retreat was such an amazing getaway, me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was closed off with a beautiful view of the beck out the back, I would seriously recommend this to other people. The price was amazing for what we got.
Wonderful spot. Hot tub and veranda area were lovely and it felt totally private. Really friendly greeting on arrival. Inside was cosy with good bed and shower. Could have done with a shelf in bedroom perhaps. All in all a lovely holiday.
Ashley
The hoilday was fantastic the views were amazing and I would recommend
Michael
A beautiful venue, perfect for a romantic getaway and escape from the everyday. Very private and tranquil. The owners and staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation had everything needed for a micro escape.
It was just perfect. . even better and more secluded than on the pictures.. There is now a built wooden wall around the hot top and also bamboo in between each fence panel. Its just a great peaceful little place.. would definitely return.. the owners are great and go above and beyond.. Thank You
Vanessa

While there'll be plenty to keep you entertained an Reflection itself, if you plan to get out and about and see some of what Northumberland has to offer, here are some of the nearby attractions you can enjoy during your stay. Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 10 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 18 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD
about 27 Miles
We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
Mabie Farm Park - DG2 8EZ
about 27 Miles
Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
