The Mallard at mels was excellent, one if the best cottages we have stayed at. Spacious, clean and well equipped. The welcome gift was a lovely touch especially including Easter eggs for the kids as we visited over Easter break. Any contact with the owners was pleasant and friendly, the site is clean tidy and well maintained. Some renovation work w as clearly underway but was always done so as not to disturb or inconvenience guests, will definitely consider staying again.
