Tortworth Lodge Reviews

We decided on a short 3 days stay and we were lucky enough to have the pleasure of staying here. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we would want. The hot tub was ideal and so clean. The location is ideal being so close to Dalby Forest and Scarborough. We all remarked how peaceful the site was too. We will definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay.
Lovely lodge, spotless and clean, well enough equipped for our needs although if there were more than 2people i would expect more cooking facilities, one of the sockets in the main bedroom didnt work, i only discovered this when my watch ran out the following day after been plugged in overnight. We also kept tripping up over the raised section that seperates the kitchen living room.Hot tub was beaut we made the most of it during our stay although it would have been better if the fencing had some privacy... If anything to moan about would be is that there is absolutely nothing nearby, you do have to drive to get anywhere, the on site bar wasnt open during our stay...only for a few hours after we arrived as it was bank hol Monday. Overall we had a lovely break away but the majority of it was driving, which we should have looked into it more prior to booking so that was our fault.
Lovely lodge, very clean with nice decor. Hot tub is wonderful and relaxing. Nice added extras with essentials available like washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel, hand soap and toilet paper. Not a major issue but the plug in the double bedroom near the mirror doesnt work. Also the door hasnt got any curtains and with the glass being plain not obscured at night time there is no privacy. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely revisit.

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.
