Moss Bank, Jacobs Wood Reviews

Moss Bank was an absolute delight. The property is the perfect couple's getaway. We parked the car up on Friday afternoon and didn't move it again until Sunday when we left. Nice walks straight from the cottage into the beautiful countryside. The property was all as listed and the wood fired hot tub was great and so easy to use. Claire was so helpful in transporting us down and back up from the cottage. We would love to return and would certainly recommend to others.
Really lovely place to stay and we had a wonderful break!
Moss Bank Jacobs Wood was a lovely place to have a break away from it all. Totally secluded and very comfortable with lots of attention to detail and little treats to make your stay extra special. Lovely walks nearby and didnt move our car for the time we were there. We will definitely recommend it.
Another fantastic stay at Moss Bank. Beautiful, seculded peaceful stay.

Absolutely stunning place to relax every thing you need under one roof. If your looking to getaway from work stress this is the place to go Claire was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know I will definitely be going back
Claire and Steve are so lovely, we stayed here a couple weeks ago and havent stopped thinking about it ever since, it was not only the perfect weekend getaway but what we truely truely needed. They thought of everything in terms of facilities and supplies, the cabin in gorgeous and the surrounding area is so private and peaceful. A key I dont remember reading is that when you are outside, or in the hot tub, you can hear this waterfall which you are able to go walk to. Amazingly peaceful, we will most certainly be returning and it might just be our go to place every rare chance me and my partner both bet time off together
Caroline
Thank you for a fantastic weekend away, we were so relaxed and tucked away from the outside world. Just what we wanted. Thanks Caroline & Steve
Sandra
The quirky round cottage was absolutely gorgeous. Had everything you needed for comfort. The hot tub was lovely, the area around was so quiet not a person in sight perfect relaxing.

Loverly peaceful just what we needed
Michelle
We wanted a break somewhere secluded, relaxing and good for walks and we definitely found it at Moss Bank. The accommodation is deceptive as it looks small but is perfectly proportioned for two. It had everything we needed to cook and relax. The patio and hot tub were lovely and you really do feel like youre miles from anywhere! We stumbled across plenty of bird life and deer right outside and even saw a barn owl out hunting an hour before sunset. Locally, theres some lovely walks on the doorstep and we found walking into Silsden along the canal very pleasant. Theres a couple of cafes and places to eat plus two supermarkets. The station isnt a long walk and theres regular buses to go a little further afield without the car. Theres an information folder in the accommodation with lots of suggestions of places to visit and walks to go on so you definitely wont get bored. The hosts ferried us to the door in a 4x4 on arrival and back to our car on departure so we didnt need to worry about carrying shopping and luggage down and up the steep track. You do need decent footwear for that but youre unlikely to be thinking of trekking round the hills in heels anyway. If youre after all the perks of being right out in nature but with luxury and comfort, this place will be perfect.
Was a lovely and peaceful break away for myself and my partner, loved being able to watch the wildlife out there. Claire and Steve were so welcoming and very helpful with our bags and taking us to the log cabin. Will definitely be recommending to our family and friends as we enjoyed our stay here.
