You'll find plenty of ways to relax and unwind, whether it's kicking back in the sitting room to enjoy a film on the wall-mounted Smart TV, playing a board game in the snug, or indulging with a dip in the outdoor hot tub as you gaze out upon the loch as the starry night sky begins to appear overhead. You can even take a nice stroll to the private loch beach which is just 1km away in favourable weather conditions.
When sleep inevitably calls, be sure to refresh with a dip in the bath before you settle down for a much-needed rest in one of the two plush bedrooms. If you can tear yourself from your peaceful new base, head out to explore your local area.
Take a brief stroll to get up close to Loch Tay, which enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside, before you set off to discover the many wonders that dwell within the Tay Forest Park, with the historic landmark of Fortingall Yew Tree residing just north. A brief car drive will bring you to neighbouring Kenmore, a small, lakeside village home to the Taymouth Courtyard Shop, which sells homely essentials, The Courtyard Brasserie & Bar where you can fill up with a tasty pub lunch, as well as the idyllic spot of Kenmore Beach and the open-air museum at The Scottish Crannog Centre.
