We had an awesome week! Everything we needed was provided, including a lovely food hamper when we arrived-lots of tasty treats and even some for our dog. The lodge felt super cosy and was spotlessly clean everywhere. There are plenty of walks right from the doorstep, so no need to drive. It’s quite dark at night due to the location, but honestly, the night sky is breathtaking and worth looking up for. We’d definitely return!

Honestly, this place was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, especially with that lovely local hamper as a welcome gift. We loved the location - right by lovely walks in the New Forest. The welcome pack for us and our dog was a sweet touch. The place was spotless and well-equipped in the kitchen, making it easy to settle in. After a day’s exploring, chilling in the hot tub was perfect. The nearby Horse and Groom pub was fantastic, just a 30-minute stroll away. Very dog-friendly, with water bowls and treats for our pup. Sian was a great host and very easy to reach if needed. We didn’t move the car once we arrived, everything was within walking distance. Brilliant stay!
James
We had a really lovely time at Lavender Lodge. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was a nice touch, especially the tea after a long journey - and our dog appreciated her own little pack too! One of the main reasons we chose this place was because we could bring our pony, which was great, but the weather was so hot that we decided not to bring him after all. The lodge is perfect if you enjoy walking, as it’s on a working farm with plenty of scenic routes nearby. We’re already planning to come back!

We spent four nights here and honestly, it was a lovely stay. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, plus the bed was super comfy. It’s a quiet spot with plenty of space, perfect for relaxing. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We enjoyed a 30-minute walk to the local pub, the Horse and Groom, which served really tasty food. Easy access to the forest and good drives to nearby spots. The hot tub was a highlight, so relaxing. When Storm Eunice hit as we left, Hannah checked in on us, which was thoughtful - luckily, we made it home safely!
