Delmonte Lodge is idyllic for families or groups of friends and two dutiful dogs on a seaside getaway in Devon. Stroll from the sea to your new abode and rinse off that stubborn sand that followed you home in a ground-floor en-suite shower room or upstairs shower room, both equipped with a heated towel rail for added pleasure.

Toast your ocean-dipped toes by the open fire in the living/diner, while a delicious dinner cooks in the well-equipped kitchen. When the sun is too good to resist, why not relax and chat under the grapevine in a dedicated relax zone with chairs and an ice bucket table provided to chill your drinks.

Indulge in a dip in the swimming pool, then dry off on the sun loungers all whilst being able to take in the wonderful sea and harbour views. All year round, the hot tub, surrounded by palm trees, is eager to hug you with a bubbling warmth, with additional seating nearby for soaking up the sun after in the warmer months.

Settle into the night with a film on the large TV, before falling into one of four doubles waiting to catch you. Soak up your local surroundings and indulge in a beach day at Torquay Beach, treat the family to Torquay’s Dinosaur World, then catch an evening show at the Princess Theatre.

Venture a little further afield for Brixham to take a seaside stroll along Brixham Harbour, explore Brixham Heritage Museum, and take a dip in the sea at St Mary’s Bay. Take that short drive to Exeter to treat the history buff to Exeter Cathedral, Exeter Castle, the Underground Passages, and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery.
