About Little Orchard Lodge

Set overlooking a working farm and surrounded by the beautiful Cornish countryside with stunning far-reaching views is Little Orchard Lodge, offering total privacy and tranquillity whatever time of year. Situated in an ideal touring location four miles from Perranporth and one of the finest beaches in the county, Little Orchard Lodge is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway to recharge the batteries and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

With a large decked terrace with furniture, a hot tub and a barbecue for alfresco dining, everything has been thought of with your comfort in mind. The lodge is open-plan with a king-size bed, a large sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area.

There is a separate family bathroom with special touches like bathrobes and luxury toiletries adding to the special feel which you will experience throughout. There are a network of walking trails directly from your door and with secure storage for bikes and boards your holiday can be as relaxing or as active as you choose.

You may just decide to spend your time relaxing on the terrace watching the wildlife with deer and a variety of birds regularly seen. A wonderful lodge in a beautiful coastal location.

Superbly well equipped and immaculately clean accommodation. Lovely location and attentive hosts. Minor issues with water supply and WiFi on one day caused by rain interrupting power supply but quickly resolved. Highly recommend.

Loved the lodge again , but gutters need cleaning as when it rained overnight we could hear the gutters overflow onto the decking . Sofa is not the the most comfortable either , sorry. Bed is lovely and overall Lodge is great

We had the most amazing time, the lodge is beautiful and comfortable. Everything has been thought of some you have everything you need for the perfect holiday away. The views are beautiful, the hosts were lovely and the hot tub was lovely. Would 100 recommend to friends and family.

A really lovely lodge on extremely peaceful, private and relaxing and quiet surroundings. It has everything we needed and is in a great location. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and on hand for any questions you have or anything you may need, however they do just leave you to it to enjoy your privacy and holiday in peace, Which is great decent hot tub. We will definitely be back.

This is a little haven of solace. It's like being cocooned in a bubble and everything you need is there for you and all you need to bring is yourself, hot tub wear and enough fooddrink to see you through. We read books, sat on the deck with wine, relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed every minute. This little lodge has been cleverly created for absolute privacy, peace and quiet. Bliss!

Lovely lodge with everything you would need to have a relaxing break. The lodge is situated in a very beautiful area, with plenty of local walks and also in easy reach of beaches or other attractions should the weather be changeable. Hosts David and Amanda live close by and are so helpful, doing anything to help ensure you have a good holiday.

Had an amazing week here. The property is beautiful, clean, well equipped and some of the little touches like flowers on arrival were very much appreciated. Owners were attentive but also let us have complete privacy. The area is beautiful. Thank you for a holiday we wont forget!

Amazing stay and such a great location! We loved every second and the lodge was perfect for our needs the hot tub was lovely and the farm is so tranquil and beautiful. We were so happy with our stay and would like to stay again for sure! Only tiny bug bear was the pillows on the bed as they gave my partner a neck ache but everyone has different preferences so you cant please everyone! The lodge is amazing and we cant wait to return.

What a little gem. The lodge is beautiful has everything that you could need provide by the owners Amanda and David. We arrived early expecting to have to come back later but this was not so the lodge was ready. Amanda explained how to operate the hot tub. There was tea, coffee and sugar. Washing up liquid, cleaning products etc provided. Books, DVDs and games in the lodge. Outside furniture to use. Fresh flowers and a 10 voucher to ue at the local shop. The property was centrally located to where we wanted to visit which was perfect. It was quiet which encouraged the wildlife to come visit. We had regular visits from a squirrel, robin and other birds. Rabbits and on our last night 2 deer and a fox. It was fantastic and just what I needed after a recent stay in hospital. Will definately recommend and will be back.

The lodge itself is secluded, quiet and exceptionally well equipped, added bonus of the hot tub to relax in when returning from visiting the area. We also enjoyed the fresh farm eggs! This lodge is a little gem secluded, cosy and with everything you need. On arrival, the place was spotless with a lovely vase of roses, milk in the fridge and a gift voucher for the local village shop. Amanda popped over to see us within a few minutes of our arrival and made us very welcome. We enjoyed watching the wildlife rabbits, squirrels, great spotted woodpecker and other birds. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate our 61st wedding anniversary and we are so pleased that we chose this property.

Lovely place, so clean and had everything we needed. If any question or issues which was only one question about the heating was sorted straight away. Amazing experience thank you

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Incredibly quiet and in beautiful surroundings. Having some main towns within half an hour either way is very convenient. The hot tub is a gorgeous feature along with a very comfortable bed and bathroom facilities. Only thing to be picky on is maybe some larger plates but everything else apart from that was amazing.

Me and my husband chose this beautiful place for our honeymoon. And we were not disappointed. We arrived a little early due to weather being bad, Amanda and David let us in early and told us to make ourselves at home. We were welcomed with some lovely flowers and a voucher too. The lodge was extremely clean and felt very homely. Half way through the week we had a malfunction with the hot tub, we called David who didnt hesitate and came straight out to sort it out for us. David then came back with a bottle of wine for me and my husband to enjoy whilst on our honeymoon. We explored all the local historic places which was amazing and knowing we were coming back to this beautiful lodge was even better. Thank you both so much for our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages. You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall. With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal. Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.

If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
