We recently stayed here for a family weekend and honestly, it was lovely. The hot tub was a big hit with everyoneand when we had a little hiccup, Claire sorted it out promptly-really appreciated her quick help. The back gate access to the beach was perfect for our 6-year-old and the dog, making everything so convenient. We also loved the ferry ride to Appledore and the waves at Westward Ho! - just a shame swimming isn't allowed at Instow, that was a bit of a letdown.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautifully decorated and in a great spot, with a gate that leads straight to the beach and some top pubs and eateries nearby. The garden gets plenty of sun in the afternoons and evenings, though an umbrella would have been handy. The small bedroom door still doesn’t shut properly, but overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a fantastic family holiday. Definitely worth it!
