Welcome to The Gatherings in Liskeard, Cornwall, a stunning retreat perfect for any celebration. This luxurious cottage sleeps 14 people in seven beautifully styled bedrooms, each offering comfort and elegance.

The spacious dining room and open-plan kitchen are ideal for entertaining, while the in-house sauna and games room provide endless fun.

Relax in the cosy snug with a wood-burner or enjoy a film in the movie room. The cottage boasts seven bedrooms, six of which are en-suite, ensuring everyone has their own space.

The landing library offers a quiet spot to unwind with a good book.

Outside, discover the undulating gardens with secret nooks and shaded areas, perfect for relaxation. The patio seats 16, making it ideal for alfresco dining.

Enjoy a soak in the large hot tub or take a dip in the outdoor pool. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy a match on the court, while the 2km farm walk offers a chance to explore the local wildlife.

Nearby attractions include the Looe Bay area for beach fun (5 miles), Carnglaze Caverns with its underground lakes (4 miles), and The Eden Project for a day out (17 miles).

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples. From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction. All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe. Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit. Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary. You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves. Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area. There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish. The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

Adrenaline Quarry - PL14 5AE

Adrenaline Quarry is the place to head for adults and teenagers and children looking for adrenaline boosting activities. The site boasts the largest and longest Zip wire in the country. Other activities available include Go Karting and the thrilling Coaststeering - Climbing cliffs and jumping in to the sea! All ages and skill levels are catered for and safety is top priority.
