Loved our long weekend away. Both husband and wife made us feel very welcome but also gave us the right level of space. My husband, our 5 month old puppy and I had a lovely weekend away for our 1st anniversary. Hot tub was under cover of the converted barn. Recommend any one staying to heat it earlier in the day- unfortunately couldnt get in on our last night as we had made it too hot! Enjoyed using the pool table and dart board. Plenty of space- would be lovely for a family to stay.
Jenny
We had a lovely stay at The Shippon. Very comfortable and everything you could want. Little extra touches like homemade scones waiting for us on our arrival were much appreciated. We shall definitely return.

Wonderful, Wonderful week in this breathtaking location, surrounded by woodland and fields The beautifully clean cottage was outstandingly well equipped with as many logs as you wanted for the log burner ! The hot tub really cinched it for me, situated as it was at the top of the garden, ideal for enjoying the stunning sunsets. Close to Bideford an d Okehampton it is still very quiet, and our hosts were very helpful and welcomed us with a cream tea and a bottle of prosecco !
