Ideal for a holiday to de-stress. Even though there are several cottages on the grounds, you have full privacy. The view on the river is stunning, certainly if you see it from your private hot-tub. We came for peace & quiet & got it. Even the weather was reasonable. Peace Cottage has been beautifully designed & with great taste. We had all we needed for a week, Stuart was a good host. The views from the living area were wonderful, we never got tired of them. The week passed quickly for us.

My wife and I spent a lovely few days over New Year and my 70th birthday at Peace Cottage. The cottage is clean and modern and we immediately felt at home. Absolutely beautiful. Top notch fixtures & fittings. Total luxury with fantastic views. So peaceful and relaxing. The photos showed it to be a lovely place, but on arrival, reality was even better. Everything we needed was there. Hosts very helpful on arrival and then left us to enjoy our holiday, which we very much did. Would definitely return in the future.

Aptly named Peace cottage is a real treasure! Secluded and bright accomodation with stunning views over the river Tamar, this is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying a swim in the heated swimming pool. Nearby are 2 National Trust properties to visit.

Nice location and very very clean, spotless infact. Surrounded by lovely countryside. Would highly recommend....
Linda
For anyone looking for peace and away from it all this is the place to stay. Both my husband and I feel that it is the most peaceful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Whether it was indulging in a bit of landscape painting or just sitting back with a good book and a drink, we both have had a fabulous time. The weather may not have been perfe ct but it did not spoil the enjoyment of the break. The hot tub is another great addition
Karen
Peace Cottage was amazing, and aptly named. We had a fabulous time in this cosy, immaculate, well kept cottage. The view of the Tamar river is outstanding. We spotted foxes, buzzards and other wildlife throughout the week. Dipped in and out of the hot tub and enjoyed a swim in the pool. Enjoyed our days out on the moors and local towns and attracti ons in the area. The country roads around and about are a bit narrow to say the least, but you get used to them. Would not hesitate to return one day.
Sharon
Cottage is exactly as per the photos, if not better. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful surroundings, owners really helpful. Sole use of the swimming pool is a real bonus. Would highly recommend. Just wish it was closer to my home so I could book it for long weekends.
Rosalind
A fantastic cottage in a fabulous location. Having a hot tub and shared pool made the holiday complete. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
Charlotte
Close enough to drive to the local town, but far enough away to enjoy the rural retreat I was looking for. A lovely welcolm pack from the owners and stunning views. It was lovely to visit the local vineyard 10 min walk down the road walk the woods and see the mine they told me about and the Quay Cafe a mile down the road. It is also close (aprox 15 min drive) to the Tamar Trails park and the Burrator Reservoir. If you do stay here,

We had the most amazing week at Peace Cottage. The pictures really don't capture how special the view and surroundings are. We booked to switch off for the week which is exactly what we did. Will definitely be booking again
Emily
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Peace Cottage. Driving up to the property and seeing the view over the river truly is breathtaking. It's even better than the photographs. The cottage itself is so beautifully finished and extremely comfortable. The hot tub and the swimming pool really just top off the whole experience. I'd come back in a heart beat. Highly recommend.
Amy
We had the most relaxing time, enjoying the beautiful views in the warm while sheltering from the terrible weather in the cabin! Loved the modern design, well-equipped kitchen, big windows, and bathroom. The underfloor heating kept us toasty (in Dec/Jan), the big bathtub was great for a long soak and the king-size bed was really comfy. When the wea ther was good, we explored the local area with some scenic walks and visits to the nearby National Trust properties. Thank you for the lovely stay!
Sarah
Our stay was perfect! What a beautiful property. Great facilities, immaculately clean and perfect for our weeks holiday. As a bonus we were even able to make use of the lovely pool on the property as well. Quiet, tranquil and very comfortable, we couldn't recommend this place more.

Stunning, spacious property and luxury in every sense. A lot of thought has gone into the lodge and the river view is spectacular. First class facilities to help you feel truly pampered, with a warm welcome from the owner.
