We have just stayed here for a week with our two young children, my parents and their 3 dogs and it really was perfect. Hot tub a fantastic addition to help wind down in the evenings! The cottage was so clean on arrival and beds were very comfortable. Our toddler loved being able to go on the swing every day and run around the garden with the dogs. We cant wait to come back next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at Owl Barn. The location is perfect to get around to all the local attractions, there are great take aways and restaurants near by and the views are beautiful. All 3 dogs settled in immediately (usually takes them a day or two!), and we all felt at home straight away. Lovely touch of scones, cake and soft bubbly on arr ival. The entire house was very clean and well presented. Ive already recommended it to friends and we will definitely stay again!

Owls Cottage is lovely. With a good size enclosed garden with the sea in the distance a peaceful rural location but close to so many beaches. Beautifully presented and a super welcome of cream scones and bucksfizz. The jacuzzi was welcome after a days walking and the cottage had everything we needed being very well equipped. We loved our week and w ould definitely recommend.

Just came back from this gorgeous Holiday Cottage Owls Barn Ilfracombe The place is immaculate and so spacious the wildlife is very calming. The cottage is exactly as advertised and the owners are on hand if you need them. The hot tub was a bonus, the cottage has lots of gorgeous features inside and the outside space is so pretty, room for private parking. Quad biking nearby loved watching them go up the sheep hill. The horses came to say hello every day.

Everything you need is provided Decent sized television in the lounge and hot tub a bonus Nice views to sea, and to Wales beyond. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere ( a bonus) , but you are only 5 mins away from a su permarket and a few more minutes to the centre of Ilfracombe. Quad bike track nearby, but didnt bother us as we liked watching them.

A wonderful weeks stay at Owls Barn with toddler, twin babies and 3 dogs. The barn was very clean, well equipped with a lot of thought put into it. We never worried about little hands reaching things. Lovely touches from the owners on arrival. Secure Garden and utility room was fantastic for the dogs. Great location with many nice beaches within ea sy reach. Would recommend Note- Keypitts backs on to the garden, we personally enjoyed watching the quads and having livestock behind the fence.

We had a lovely week in late Oct/early November. Cottage was clean and tidy. Generally well equipped. Just lacked a few essentials (e.g cloths for wiping sides/washing up). Easy drives to the amazing beaches - Woolacombe, Staunton Sands and Croyde. Surfed at Staunton with Surf Staunton and would recommend. Hot tub a bonus.

Beautiful clean cottage within a short driving distance from shops and beaches. The garden was stunning for the dogs to run around and lovely and secure. The hot tub looks onto beautiful views of the sheep and horses in the fields. The kitchen is well equipped and the showers were extremely powerful and hot which was a huge bonus. I cant say anything negative about this property. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and everything was spotlessly clean!! As I previously mentioned about everything you could need there was even a hot water bottle that was a blessing as we had to use it, due to someone not feeling very well. There was a total of 8 people and our dog staying at Owls barn. Our 2 grandchildren that are both aged 2 years old had a wonderful time running around and enjoying the hot tub.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
