A beautiful cottage in perfect condition, cleanliness and location, we spent days at local Westward Ho! Bude, Appledore and the absolutely stunning Clovelly, but also looked forward to getting back to the cottage to use the hot tub, bbq and patio area, in it's peaceful tranquil location away from the more populated areas we'd visited through the daRead morey. If circumstances allow us to, we will definitely be back. Hide

This was a lovely comfortable cottage break for us in the heart of the Devon countryside with marvellous views out of the back. Close to Bideford and Bude and easy runs to Clovelly and Hartland. We had a nice anniversary dinner at The Pier in Westward Ho! and wild lunch at Hartland Quay. Ilfracombe was a lovely run out too. The cottage had a comfy 4 poster king size bed in a big room upstairs. Just a bath and toilet in the upstairs ensuite and the shower was in the huge hot tub room. Fantastic.
Tracy
The cottage was perfect for a cosy break after Christmas. It was spotless and had everything that was needed. Definitely will visit again.
Sharon

Dream cottage was so idyllic and perfect, didnt want to leave. Your hosts Derek and Angie were friendly & on hand if needed, even helped with a birthday surprise. The neighbourhood cows were even polite. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and warm, optional log burner if needed but really you wouldnt need to use. The private hot tub was bliss. If visiting would recommend the following for food, The Farmers Arms and Hoops Inn. Plenty of lovely walks around the area.
David
The cottage is lovely inside. Plenty of room for two. Superb bedroom. A lovely view from the bench on the patio, but also very close to the neighbours next door.

In Dream cottage we had a lovely week so quiet and peaceful. Everything you could ask for and Derek even let us plug our electric car in. Sitting outside on an evening watching the cows and calfs is wonderful. Great place and hosts. X
Doug
What a lovely cottage, the pictures really don't do it justice, the owners are great and very helpful
Trixie
Dream Cottage is a perfect country cottage. Underfloor heating means it's incredibly cosy & warm - we only lit one fire in the wood burner! It's in excellent decorative order, spotlessly clean (& completely disinfected between guests), well equipped, the bed was super comfortable & the hot tub was a real bonus. The area is beautiful, lots to do eve n in the dead of winter. We would thoroughly recommend The Farmers Arms & The Thatched Inn for dinner, both really excellent food!
Mohammed
It was a brilliant stay, and Derek the Host was very kind and helpful. Will be booking the Cottage again soon.
Janine
The cottage was beautiful and spotless. Fully equipped with all the essentials you will need. Had a real personal touch feel to the property especially with the Christmas decorations. Owners very friendly with great communication. Would recommend for a private peaceful get away.
Sally
The cottage was beautiful and exactly like it looks in the pictures. It was warm and cozy and perfect for a relaxing get away. The log fire was gorgeous and added to the ambience but the cottage was more than warm enough without it. Both the spa bath and the hot tub were scrupulously clean and it was so luxurious to have both!! The kitchen was extr emely well equipped and all the appliances were full sized and easy to use. The shop in the nearby village was also great to stock up on local produce
Michael
Dream cottage is a beautiful place in a farm setting, its very cozy and clean with everything you need. Although Derek and Angie are on hand for any needs I.e firewood and advice they werent intrusive, its lovely quiet setting apart from the odd moo from the cows they have in the field out the back. There are some lovely places to see with in 10 mi les and the local pubs do some fantastic food especially The Bell and the Hart. We loved having the Hot tub to ourselves (dressing gown is advisabl
Chris
