Lovely quiet sire with plenty of things to do, rain or shine. Nice to have ponds and woods to walk around. We saw a kingfisher one afternoon. The lodge was very well equipped and comfortable, with the hot tub well used. A 3 generation holiday that was enjoyed by all.

We had a wonderful holiday in Lavender Lodge at Smytham holiday Park. Our lodge was well equipped for our family of five. It was clean and had everything we needed. The decking was lovely and we enjoyed the large hot tub every day. The only welcome addition would have been a sun shade umbrella on the decking. A lovely stay in Lavender Lodge at Smytham Holiday park. The lodge is well kept, parking right outside, and during out stay, the hot tub was checked/cleaned twice daily. Well kept holiday park, much nicer than we'd expected. If you're staying here you need a car, but you're within 30 minutes of lots of places, and just a couple of miles from RHS RoRead moresemore. Will definitely try and stay here again - highly recommended. Hide

Amazing from start to finish. The accommodation was spotless which gets your holiday off to a great start. Hot tub was perfect and it was well maintained as someone came out daily to check it. The swimming pool photos dont do it justice it was perfect, always clean and warm. The site is well maintained with everything been kept on top of you can te ll it is family run business with the care and attention to detail. Will definitely be returning.

modern comfortable lodge on a great well kept site. Lots of great little touches, the lodge had everything we needed. You can access the Tarka trail at the bottom of the site. Staff really friendly and helpful. hot tub maintained every day and was a plus at the end of a day trip. You'll need a car to get where you need to go, but Torrington is abou t a 5 minute drive and that had all the shops we needed to stock up. Would definitely recommend this lodge and site.

We had a wonderful time at Lavender Lodge. The accommodation and the site were spotlessly clean. The lodge was well appointed and equipped. The hot tub was wonderful and checked x2 per day by the friendly staff. We were really impressed with the pool and pool area which were also immaculate and has been updated since the photos on the website. The separate 'baby pool' was perfect for our toddler too. Our kids loved the games room, playground and grounds. Overall a perfect family holiday. Thanks

We had a lovely week at Lavender lodge,helped by the beautiful weather.The hot tub was fantastic,checked twice a day by the very helpful Ben.The whole site is lovely and peaceful,the swimming pool is a fair size and it was nice to have a bar onsite(open 7pm until 11pm.A van selling a hog roast came in on Thursday evening,the food was lovely.There i s also a fish and chip van and a waffle van on other nights.We had a nice Thai meal at the Torridge Inn and also worth a mention is The half moon inn

Absolutely amazing site. We stayed in one of the lodges which was excellent. The caravans and camping facilities on the site are of the highest standard. Pool area is very well presented and well equipped with lots of sunbeds. Very handy reception building which also sold essentials. So glad we chose this site and will be booking again.

The lavender lodge was wonderful! Immaculate, well equipped and a great size. Staff very friendly at the camp site and great for pointing you in the right direction in things to do for the area! Would go back in a flash! Hot tub and bbq on decking was great! The added addition of a lockable gate was perfect for our energetic 2 year old! Kitchen ver y well kitted out with appliances and utensils etc!

Absolutely wonderful lodge, the owners have thought of everything. It's really well equipped, plenty of cupboard space for your food. Lodge was very clean, towels provided too. Hot tub on veranda was a bonus and made up for the bad weather we had. Secure area under lodge for bike storage, access to the Tarka Trail is from the back of the site.
