Bob
Great lodge on a site that is well located. It has an outside pool, small shop, bar and games room. There were visiting food vans on several of the evenings. What really makes it is the friendly atmosphere and a quiet site even when full.
Melanie
Great lodge on a well maintained site. It was lovely having the hot tub which was checked twice daily. WiFi wasn't great which was a shame as was impossible to watch Netflix in the evenings. Pool was nice but a little smaller than expected so got quite busy. Lovely site for relaxing. If you want to see more of Devon be prepared to travel. Overall w e had a great holiday but would probably stay nearer the coast next time. If you want rural and relaxing, this is the site for you.
Janine
If your looking for a tranquil location & dont mind driving then this is the place for you. We stayed in the heather Lodge as its dog friendly. It was really clean & spacious, good pressure on shower, nice & hot. TV reception was hit & miss but you are in the middle of nowhere so was to be expected. Added bonus was a lovely 6 person hot tub which w as checked twice a day. The family that run this site are so friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble. Hope to visit again in future.
Spencer
The lodge is on a lovely family-run site with a dedicated dog walking area and direct access to the Tarka Trail. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay with a large deck and a lovely 6 person hot tub that was checked twice a day. You will need transport as the nearest shops / pubs are a drive a way. Croyde, Westward Ho, Watersmeet and Clovelly are about 1/2 hour drive away. A lovely relaxing stay, highly recommended!
Glenda
An excellent all round stay. Lovely friendly welcome on arrival, a clean well equipped holiday lodge which was in a good location for our cycle rides. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds with pine furniture. We are four adults and two young children, we had plenty if space. Good kitchen facilities. The cycle store located below the decking was sec ure and large enough for several bikes. The hot tub on the decking was a welcome bonus and gated decking a secure area for our young grandchildren.
Dawn

Karen
Amazing lodge with everything you could want. Will definitely be returning.
Andrew
What a lovely weekend the lodge was very nice. spacious and clean. The hot tub was amazing, they really should promote it more with pictures on their site, because we couldn't find pictures we weren't expecting much but it was great and they came round twice a day and checked the water quality, well impressed. It was on a small very quiet site, not much going on but for those who want a quiet break with some lovely walks it was perfect.
