We spent a week at this lovely lakeside lodge and honestly, it was fantastic! The place had everything we could need plus some nice little extras that made it extra special. We had such a lovely time at the Lakeside Hut! It’s cosy and beautifully set up with everything we needed, plus some sweet little extras. The hot tub was a highlight, even if we took a bit to figure it out-Johnny was quick to help us. The dark skies meant brilliant stargazingand we even spotted a bat and heard a tawny owl. Watching ducks and moorhens on the lake was so peaceful. Honestly, it’s perfect for a quiet escape. We’d definitely return!

This is such an amazing place to stay! All you hear are the sounds of nature and the beautiful views across the pond at sunset. On clear nights, the constellations are just stunning. The Shepards Hut is lovely, cleanand well equipped. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while listening to the owls and the sounds of the sheep or cows. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return in the Autumn. Highly recommend staying here, the owners are so friendly too. Such a beautiful glamping break!

My partner and I had a fantastic time away for her birthday, such a peaceful and surreal environment. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to meet the owners or the famous farm dog Meg, but we're definitely planning to come back soon, so fingers crossed! We were really pleasantly surprised by how every little detail was taken care of, even down to makeup wipes and eggs a nd milk in the fridge! 10/10, we'll be back for sure!

From the moment we booked, we felt excited! The location is stunning; you can really switch off and just listen to the endless sounds of nature. This part of North Cornwall is known for its magicand it's all right here. The lodge has everything you could need, perfect for snuggling up inside when the weather isn't great, as well as enjoying the sunset, lazing in the hot tub, or sitting by the fire—you can't help but feel relaxed. Ellie and Johnny are amazing hosts; nothing is too much trouble from the start. It’s fantasticand we can’t wait to return! Thank you!

What an amazing find! Thank you Chloe and Johnny for such a wonderful stay, the location was beyond words and the hot tub and fire really made it feel so special. We were totally blown away by the beautiful surroundings of the lake and fields. We thought the farm would be more noisy but we never heard more than a lamb's bleat. A truly incredible experience and we can't wait to come back!

The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.

If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.

Adrenaline Quarry is the place to head for adults and teenagers and children looking for adrenaline boosting activities. The site boasts the largest and longest Zip wire in the country. Other activities available include Go Karting and the thrilling Coaststeering - Climbing cliffs and jumping in to the sea! All ages and skill levels are catered for and safety is top priority. Zip Wire rides start from £12.50 While Coaststeering costs £30.00.
The Eden Project - PL24 2SG

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
