Tyn Y Berth Reviews

Beautiful cosy accommodation, amazing views. Hot tub was very clean and stayed hot
Richard
Amazing customer care and responded quickly and efficiently to query regarding hottub. House was spotless with amazing views. Linen and towels where of high quality and fresh. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return. Few recommendations few scuffs on twin bedroom wall only stood out due to the high spec everywhere else.
Lovely views, but the road is busy and it does impact on your enjoyment of the hot tub.
Beautiful house, great location, some great beaches on your doorstep. The view is a real treat and all the bedrooms have a sea view. House is well equiped with everything you would need for your stay and the little washing line was perfect for drying costumes and towels after the hot tub which was great. Only minor disappointment was the proximity of a busy road running right outside the house, made being outside very noisy. Would definately recommend.
We have reported an issue to both yourself and the owner not responding to us now, left on Thursday due to Road works, abuse received from one of the workers. It was very difficult to get into the drive way due to one lane closed due to the road works. We booked the cottage for a relaxing week did not get this usbke to use the hot tub due the noise snd fumes from the traffic due to the traffic lights want to be reimbursed for the cost of the holuday.
We have stayed in a few properties over the years in Anglesey and I have to say this cottage has been the best. Stunning views in a beautiful location. The cottage itself, is gorgeous and it really did feel home from home. Will definitely book again for springsummer
September weekend break
Me and my friends stayed here at the end of September for a long weekend break. we was all amazed by the house and its fantastic views of Anglesey. The house was gorgeous so homely, in a great location, it came with everything from wifi, bedding/towels to dvds and board games for the evening! The hot tub was amazing! With outstanding sea views so we was able to watch the sunset. It was in a great location near a village (10 min drive) which has shops, cafes and pubs! We was so lucky with the weather at the end of September we managed to get to the beach which was only a 15 minute walk! We will definitely be returning 2023. Thank you for a great stay!

We very happy with happy with the accommodation, it's beautifully presented, and very comfortable, I read a review whilst travelling and was worried about what we were walking into, how unfair and unnecessary, rest assured if you are planning on staying in this cottage, it won't be disappointing you,
The cottage was a high standard and quality. My friends and I really enjoyed out stay. Hot tub was an absolute gem. Plenty of places to visit and good eating places. Would highly recommend this property and hopefully be returning at some point next year.
We had an absolutely fantastic week at Tyn y Berth. A lovely old property tastefully and thoughtfully made into a lovely comfortable relaxing holiday home. We had everything we needed although 2 showers would be good
Wonderful ??????????
I was tempted to keep this place a secret to share with friends and family but that wouldn't be fair- so if you are looking for a wonderful holiday -in a beautiful location -in a fabulous, comfortable home I don't know if you could find anything better. I've stayed on Anglesey many times and I know it quite well, but when we arrived here last Sunday I was blown away. As the previous reviews have already said, it is an exceptional property. We were spoiled because it was also a glorious week of unbroken sunshine but I can imagine that Tyn Y Berth would be equally as wonderful in winter. I have already booked my dates for next year. Thanks to James and Neil for sharing your lovely house Sara - Lee- Keshia-Ian- Jasmine - India and baby Amber x
Can?t wait to return
Had a fabulous week staying at the cottage . The location is perfect , views outstanding , particularly from the gorgeous hot tub ! Waking up with the sea view was particularly beautiful . The owners have thought of everything to help make your stay very comfortable The island is spectacular with fantastic coastal walks. The cottage itself is very comfortable , homely and has everything you need for a lovely holiday . Can highly recommend Ann?s pantry just a walk away for breakfast lovely coffees etc . This is an unspoilt part of the country and we cannot wait to return .
Great stay we got the weather little tight for parking very good location Hot ... Great stay we got the weather little tight for parking very good location Hot tub good and it was used almost every day
The property was beautiful and comfortable, I would suggest that you ask the cleaners to move certain furniture pieces and hoover under them under the pufe when moved was dusty and bitty but we soon ran the hoover round, also, when having a shower there was a wee problem with the shower ceiling as the paint kept pealing off and sticking to you, these may seem petty comments but it's a shame to spoil such a great little cottage. Just a note to the previous guests... Take a shower before using the hot tub as there were lines of sand on the seats.... But on the whole the cottage was great!
Beautiful cottage with beautiful views and a beautiful location in Anglesey
Book with confidence! ! Theres literally nothing to fault on this property. If I must put a negative, weather wasnt great but thats expected at this time of the year and that is all. Location is great, view is amazing and the house is more than perfect with lot of privacy. Owners were quick to response and absolutely kind and lovely. The agency was very helpful too. 1000 well be coming back.
Suzanne
Lovely cottage, clean, everything you need. Only downside it is on a very fast road which makes pulling into the property difficult.

This cottage is set in beautiful surroundings but unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. The main problem being it was filthy! There was dust and cobwebs, very grubby light switches and walls and some mouldy corners. Considering we are in the middle of a global pandemic we were very disappointed with the hygiene standards and had to anti bacterially clean through on arrival. There were stains and spills on chair and sofas so we sat on our own throws throughout the holiday. Also a strong smell of dog which wasnt pleasant. The handle to the utility cupboard kept falling off, the blind in the master bedroom was broken and the hot tap on the bath was knackered! A clean, new toilet brush between guests would be nice! There wasnt a doormat at all and the fake grass near the hot tub was a tripping hazard. The house keeping book had wrong information about bin emptying day so we put it out almost every day until it was finally emptied on a Friday. An outdoor table and chairs would have been appreciated as the bench didnt fit all 6 of us. With a little thought and at a small cost these issues could be put right and the cottage would be perfect.
We loved the house, and had a wonderful time. Indoors was beautiful and luxurious, and the hot tub and views were stunning. Unfortunately, there were a few niggles. The house is on a very busy main road so it was noisy. The garden area isnt ideal for our dog, and there was inadequate garden furniture. We asked the owner if he could provide some, but he didnt. I took outdoor furniture for granted, but I will check in future! Some frustrations, but we still had an amazing time, and cant wait to return to Anglesey!
Loved the cottage and surrounding area . The weather was superb on a different beach most days and walks along coastal path. In the evenings went back for hot tub and film on Netflix would definitely recommend to family and friends. Beautiful place to stay . Relaxing and views from each window just amazing .

We booked this for our wedding anniversary as we werent able to go abroad to the villa we had booked. I love Anglesey and was excited for our stay, we wanted a decent size place in a decent location and a hot tub was a major factor especially due to the weather forecast. Literally as we were setting off about 4pm we were called by the owner to be told that the hot tub had broken that morning and was trying to get it fixed but was likely to be the last day of our stay at the earliest obviously this was extremely disappointing and my wife was very upset but we tried to stay positive, hope for the best and understood things like this can happen. When we arrived the outside was untidy with food on the floor near the bins and the garden was quite unkept. The hot tub was situated in an open area at the side of the house in open sight of the front of the neighbours house and main road with no overhead structure like shown in the pictures. The location was great, not far from the beach, sea and nice local towns. The hot tub wasnt fixed at any point during our stay and had to chase up the owner to see about developments. The owner did offer to pay for lunch at a local place but we said that we had already booked Dylans for our anniversary and didnt hear anything back. We asked about a refund and he said he didnt see a problem with that but asked us to speak to Sykes, we called Sykes and they understood why this was such a let down and said they would come back to us. We hadnt heard anything back so we called again later the next day day of departure, Sykes said they had tried to call the owner but hadnt heard back and said they would try and get hold of the owner again to see what he was happy to offer us which was surprising considering the owner seemed to make out that it was Sykess decision, anyway, they called back quite quickly and said the owner would give us 45 which was massively disappointing and not a refund or even compensation that reflects what we had lost in any way and we expressed this to Sykes and they said they would speak to the owner again and come back to us, we have still not heard anything and this is over a week so we just feel let down. We are both very busy people and this was a much needed getaway and celebration and we just dont have the time for chasing things like this up. I dont like being negative and I dont like writing negative things, Im a landlord myself so may be a little more understanding that others would be when things go wrong but I also go to the ends of the earth to make sure things are right with my houses for my tenants even if Im at a loss.
Had a great break, very relaxing and such a warm and cosy home from home. Enjoyed the hot tub and had easy access to the surrounding towns and villages. lots of room and very clean.
Having Netflix and a friendly owner made stay more enjoyable.
Robert
The location has an amazing view over the bay, very comfortable & spacious, I would recomend a stay at Tyn Y Berth
Deborah
A lovely well equipped cottage with stunning views.
Catherine
Everything was lovely, the only disappointment was the amount of waste in the bin, we put it out and the recycling bin wasn't emptyed, it did have food waste in the glass department it was very windy and got blown over twice, which I picked up from the street if the council had emptyed it when they came everything would have been ok. But they just took the bottles and left the rest. Spoilt a perfect stay. But would go there again.
Graham
Lovely cottage for a relaxing family break. Some people might not like the proximity of a busy at times road but the garden is secure. The owner was very helpful and sorted out any issues we had. Hot tub has a sea view from it and all the front windows have sea views too. Its about 34 mile walk downhill to the nearest beach but very nice sandy beach with a nice rocky patch.
Philippa
Absolutely beautiful home with everything you need for a relaxing time away. lots of little beaches to explore near by. will definitely be booking again
The views are stunning from this house and there is plenty to do around the area. we would defiantly recommend this place and we would defiantly book again.
Jackie
Weve stayed In Anglesey for thirty years now, and this was the nicest cottage by far. Lovely luxurious bedding and towels, and such a well stocked kitchen too. The views were amazing and the hot tub just made it extra special. Many thanks for letting us stay, cant wait to come back!!
