Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, the cottage had everything we needed!
Emma
We felt right at home here, it’s so peaceful and cosy. The hot tub and dog field were lovely extras, honestly made our stay special. The views are breathtaking, especially the night skies - we barely wanted to leave! Would definitely come back.
Emily
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was super cosy and had everything we needed for a self-catering break. The jacuzzi was a real treat after long days exploring. It’s quite remote though, so be prepared for a bit of a drive to get to shops - at least twenty minutes. Dogs are totally welcomeand the enclosed area was perfect for ours. Jon was a lovely host, so friendly and welcoming!
Emma
Great spot, our kids and dog loved it, definitely coming back soon!
George
We’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area. The fenced two-acre field was perfect for our dogs to run around safely, which was a real bonus. The hot tub was lovely and warm, though not really our thing. Being out in the countryside means you’ll need to drive for local sights and activities. The place had everything we needed-comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchenand a decent TV in the lounge. Overall, a great stay!
Emma

The dog field was perfect for our dogs to run freelyand the hot tub was spotless and so relaxing after a long day. Truly peaceful, we’d definitely recommend it for a chill getaway!
Emma
We loved this cosy cottage tucked away in a tranquil spot. It’s a real gem, way nicer than the pictures show! Plenty of room for our family and the dog, especially with that lovely field behind for walks. The nearby town is a quick drive, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway.
Lucy
The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the countrysideand the hot tub was a real highlight! It’s really cosy and spotless, making it feel just like home. It’s about 20 minutes from the coast, but be prepared for limited shops nearby. We loved it and would definitely recommend!
Emma
The cottage was super cosy, well-equippedand the hot tub made it extra special! Loved it.
Emma
The cottage is really charming and set in such a lovely spot. The hot tub was a real treatand the appliances worked perfectly. Just a heads up, you’ll need a car to reach shops or supermarkets. Perfect for relaxing, but maybe not ideal if you’re chasing after energetic little ones!
Alex

We had a fantastic week at the Stable! Jon greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The cottage was stunning and had everything we needed. We loved the welcome hamper with butter, milkand bread - such a nice touch! Even though we didn’t get around to using the BBQ or pizza oven, charcoal and firelighters were there, which was handy. The hot tub was just perfect. Quiet location, super relaxing. Definitely recommend - we’ll be back!
Sam

The welcome hamper was a lovely touch! It’s a bit remote, so if you’re after walking distance to shops or local amenities, this isn’t the spot. The hot tub was a big highlightand the enclosed courtyard kept things safe for our dogs, who enjoyed running in the field. All in all, a fantastic base for exploring and we’d definitely return!

Just got back from a week at the stables and it was lovely! Our hosts went above and beyond, even putting the heating and kettle on since I got a bit lost. The gift basket was a nice touch, full of essentials and some treats. The outdoor storage with beds and bowls for the dogs was super handyand the 4-acre secure field was perfect for them to run free. The cottage itself was really cosy and well-equipped. Honestly, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it!
