Lovely stay. very comfortable and peaceful. There was coffee, milk and tea on arrival which was very pleasant as we did not arrive until late. Large living space which was good for us as a party of 6 + dog which meant we were not all on top of each other! Beds were comfy enough, very large bathrooms! Amazing views over the river with (wild?) horsesRead more right opposite. Perfect views of the sunrise! We loved the hot tub! Very rural location with about 30 mins drive to the beach. Hide

Fabulous stay for a week . Lovely and clean and very spacious. Ideal for my elderly mother with a downstairs bedroom. Would highly recommend property.
Richard
A really lovely and spacious stone cottage, full of character and a perfect balance of quiet seclusion, with your own private river frontage, and easy access to numerous great beaches and so many picturesque walks along the coast. We have been every year for the past 4 years and will be back for sure!
Beverley
Absolutely loved the cottage. It is secluded which is what we like, nobody overlooking you. Sat in the gardens in the mornings and evenings, surrounded by birds and the squirrels. There are horses in the field below and pass by the cottage somedays. The hot tub is nice to relax after a day out. Set on a country lane all on its own. NB the pubs whicRead moreh are within walking distance only open in the evenings 5pm onwards. There is an excellent convenience store, just a 2 minute drive away. Hide

A beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub, views over the river and log burner made a dull January weekend a delight. I would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return one day.

Fabulous cottage with amazing views. Not far to walk to two lovely pubs, one does great food and the other had a roaring fire and was really friendly. Property is very spacious and well equipped with good parking outside.

Absolutely loved our stay.
David
3rd stay at the property. The location is peaceful and has lovely views. We love family walks across the river & the latest edition of a bench over looking the river on the properties land. During our stay we visited Aberporth beach, Cardigan & Cenarth falls. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it it. We planned to visit New quay for a boat trip however poor weather put paid to our plans. Plenty of local pubs to visit and the chip shop in Newcastle is excellent for lazy nights in
Linda
A very clean house in a fantastic location with views of the river which was in full flow during our stay. The location is secluded and quiet but only a couple of hundred metres from a main road which makes getting anywhere very easy without having to navigate miles of narrow country lanes. The garden is also very well maintained, I think it would look even better in the spring and summer. Recommend the Daffodil restaurant about three miles away for good food and a nice location.
Richard
Second time we have been to Peny-bont because we absolutely love it! The cottage has everything - comfort, tranquility, easy access to some awesome beaches, local restaurants and pubs, a memorable view of the stars, and the constant bubbling sound of the river Teiffi to round it off, makes the stay here just idyllic!
Spencer
Beautiful and relaxing stay, the cottage was above our expectations.
Ruby
The property was lovely and clean on arrival and had everything you could think of. It's in a very peaceful location with a lovely big garden. Great for an adult only relaxing holiday. Not In the ideal place if you have small children but it was still a wonderful time.
Melissa
A beautiful home from home cottage, this cottage had breath taking views at the back of the property and spacious living space. Definitely need a car to explore as not much within walking distance. All in all it was a comfortable stay.
Michelle
Our first impression of the cottage was wow. On entrance to the kitchen, it was clear it was well equipped. The welcome treats were gratefully received. The downstairs was spacious. The view from the garden was amazing and relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub with a view was super. Nearby there were local walks, a train ride, and castle ruins. Would we go back, yes of course we would
Naomi
Beautiful property! So spacious and comfortable. The utility room was an added bonus for coats and shoes etc! Log burner was used every night and warmed up the downstairs perfectly. Beds comfy and property had everything we needed. View from property was just amazing, the river is stunning. We walked down the garden and along river and kids paddled in their wellies! Location is remoteprepare for tiny lanes and lots of driving but didnt bother us! Stunning property! Thank you
Sarah

The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped We paid a little extra for linen and towels and it was well worth it. Not only were there towels in the bedrooms but also a pile of towels for use after the hot tub
