Vale Cottage Reviews

Sarah
Great location near to beach which dogs really enjoyed , plenty of seating space , good to have tumble dryer option for drying off damp walking clothing . Pub around the corner really handy with helpful staff and good menu .
Jean
This home is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the beach and from a nice pub and brilliant coastal walks. It has a great shared family room downstairs, enabling everyone to be together which worked really well for us. It's nicely furnished and we enjoyed being there. We were informed by the holiday company 2 days prior to our sRead moretay that the hot tub was out of action which was disappointing but we later received a refund when we chased this. A nice home and we would stay again. Hide
Ben
Excellent cottage in the perfect location.
Sally
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Vale Cottage. The cottage itself was super comfortable and in such a beautiful location; the only downside to the holiday was having to leave at the end!
Caron
This is a great cottage in an excellent location with plenty of lovely walks straight out the front door. We had a very relaxing break with our 2 dogs even though the weather wasnt brilliant.
Sarah
Lovely cottage, very comfortable for the four of us. Beautifully decorated and clean, nice courtyard garden. Great location, close to the beautiful sandy beach, which was dog friendly when we were there. We loved port Eynon, lovely walks and an enjoyable holiday.
Naomi
We have thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at The Vale, despite the lack of and previous reviews we were very sceptical what to expect. The only negative was the hot water situation as mentioned, we only were able to enjoy the fabulous bath on the first day other than that the water ran lukewarm. The location was amazing, so many beaches to visit Read morewith our dogs within 15 mins drive. We book properties that suit or reactive dog, so pleased to say the property was FULLY enclosed for our large Rottweiler, meaning we could all have a laid back experience. Hot tub and garden furniture were amazing in the sunshine, the main bed was so comfy, everything we needed was in the house. We shall be looking to book again next year, we wanted to return in September but no availability for our dates. Overall we loved it and would highly recommend. Best property in the area. Hide

We had a fantastic time at Vale Cottage The bed and sofa very comfy. The master bedroom is lovely and plenty of space, the two other bedrooms very small. The hot tub was fantastic we used it every day. The only thing I would say it needs is more hot water. Great location, pub only a 2 minute walk and beach 4 minute walk from the property. WRead moreould certainly go back Hide
Beth
Absolutely fabulous location, and a beautiful property. We had a few problems with running out of hot water and the neighbour clearly didnt enjoy living next door to a holiday let. He was rude to us when we were unloading the cars, and asked us to turn music down whilst we were in the hot tub (mid afternoon).
Sharron
Nice comfy cottage, accomodates 6 people really well, well equipped garden , lovely hot tub, no parking for more than one car.
Lisa
Nice cottage in excellent location. Management company difficult to contact & beds with tvs in kickboards are difficult to operate because they are so tightly in the fitted wardrobe surrounds.
David
Very nicely decorated. Beds really comfortable. Sofas also very comfortable. All mod cons. Everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable. Nice garden area along with hot tub. My only criticism is shower room downstairs was very cold and on our last day there. Water was only tepid when showering.
Sara
The cottage has a very secure garden which meant we were able to relax in the hot tub without worrying about our greyhound escaping. There were lots of dog walks accessible from the property, we will likely book again.
