This is a very well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage with everything needed for a relaxing, holiday. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and left a very generous welcome package. We loved our stay! Everything was pristine. Towels, robes, bedding all beautiful. Prosecco, milk and chocolate/biscuits on arrival. The hot tub and pool were excellent. Our host were very welcoming on our arrival, they showed us around the property and were very proud of it. The property was both spacious and immaculate with comfy beds, luxurious bedding, towels and bath robes. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was furniture to eat indoors or al fresco. Whilst soaking in the hot tub the view was panoram ic. Places we visited were Aberporth, Aberaeron, Cardigan, Lampeter, Newcastle Emlyn, New Quay. Favourite place Aberaeron lots of colourful houses.

We loved our stay at this cottage, it is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings (with the added interest of farm animals - a bonus with little ones). This is by far the most well equipped place we have stayed in, there was nothing at all that we needed, and there was a really generous welcome package. You have use of the tennis court, and the (unhe ated) pool in winter, and the separate utility room with freezer, washer, dryer and table tennis is a great added space! We definitely hope to return.

This cottage was by far the best we have stayed in over the last few years. It is so well equipped and comfortable we had the most relaxing holiday ever. The large bed where so comfy I was reluctant to get out in a morning. The owners where very helpful and even gave my wife a birthday card and gift on the day. The facilities available to this cott age are second to none from laundry facilities to indoor pool and a tennis court. I can honestly say that I would return without hesitation.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful family run cottage. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and were really impressed by the immaculate cottage as soon as we stepped inside. It was spotlessly clean and everything we could need was provided with extra little touches in every room. Beautiful cottage, exceptionally clean with quality furniture and fittings. Beds fabulous. Generous welcome gifts, chocs, milk, prosecco, tea, coffee, etc. Flowers gave a homely touch. Chetwynd cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location on the owners farm. The cottage is tastefully decorated to a high standard. It has comfy leather couches, super king size bed with quality bedding, fluffy towels and super shower. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Outside there is a wonderful private hot tub, a patio set with an umbr ella and the views from here are spectacular. Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT
about 22 Miles
Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
