Our host were very welcoming on our arrival, they showed us around the property and were very proud of it. The property was both spacious and immaculate with comfy beds, luxurious bedding, towels and bath robes. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was furniture to eat indoors or al fresco. We loved our stay at this cottage, it is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings (with the added interest of farm animals - a bonus with little ones). This is by far the most well equipped place we have stayed in, there was nothing at all that we needed, and there was a really generous welcome package. You have use of the tennis court, and the (unhe ated) pool in winter, and the separate utility room with freezer, washer, dryer and table tennis is a great added space! We definitely hope to return.

Chetwynd cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location on the owners farm. The cottage is tastefully decorated to a high standard. It has comfy leather couches, super king size bed with quality bedding, fluffy towels and super shower. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
