Forge Cottage is ideally situated for those wishing to enjoy the wonderful coastline and beaches of the Gower. It is very comfortably furnished and it is obvious that great care and attention has gone into making this a stylish holiday home. The proximity of The Ship next door means there is a handy alternative to home catering and Port Eynon itselRead moref is a very pretty village. Access to the expansive beach is but a hundred yards away and our dogs thought they were in heaven! Highly recommended. Hide

Forge Cottage was tastefully decorated and felt very cosy and homely. Conveniently located close to the beach and the local pub. We had a comfortable stay.

Great location for walking, beach, local pub. Very cosy and well appointed cottage. The extra lounge with TV was a bonus. Bedrooms were roomy, comfy and bathrooms excellent. Everything was in place to ensure a great stay.

Forge Cottage is a beautiful cottage tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The hot tub and log burner are a bonus as is proximity to the pub and beach. A very relaxing place to stay that feels so homely.

We found the property to be very clean, spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and all round very comfortable. We had 6 year old twin grandchildren staying with us and they thought it was wonderful to have their own separate lounge and TV. The location for the beach is excellent and a great pub next door for meals and a nice glass of wine. Would Read morebe happy to stay there again. Hide

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT

Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
Merlin Hill Centre - SA67 8BP

Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - EX34 0NG

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
