For our family it was brilliant. The grandkids could make as much noise as they wanted, the dogs could bark, we were away from everyone. The hot tub was a great success, as was the wild area and river for exploring. Plenty of room in the lodge for everyone. We had the best time, the property was stunning and so well equipped. So much thought and care has gone into it. We stayed there with small children and the property felt very safe and secured. Even when the weather wasn't great we enjoyed sitting by the river. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We will definitely go again in the fRead moreuture. Hide

Wonderful place to stay. Very private when we went in August and leaves on trees, not overlooked at all. Everything appeared to be brand new. Couldnt suggest any improvements. Perfect for dogs. Fully enclosed huge garden (smaller dogs may get under the gate, we have two Labradors). Gate leads to river/stream, deep enough in places for dogs to swim. Beach at Abergele also perfect for the dogs. Have stayed at a number of cottages with the dogs and this was the best by far.
Shelley

This is a beautiful fishing lodge with historical interest. The location is secluded and tranquil with lots of privacy as well as peace and quiet. There is loads of space to gather with friends/family and we very much enjoyed the outdoor space including the hot tub. Make sure you follow the directions from the owner, as property is accessed down a long track and over a bridge. A lovely spot for a quiet rural holiday.

We did love the place and the hot tub! It is a little far out from places but its also beautifully located near a river and surrounding fields! Fabulous house, big enough for all 8 of us and the dog loved the space too! Would recommend if you want some space and peace and quiet. We went out most days and enjoyed the area around us too! Good communi cation with owners and were near if needed. Loved the hot tub, clean and well serviced!
