What a fantastic week away with our dog and 2 young boys!! The farmhouse is stunning! In a perfect idilic location with plenty of space inside and out! We enjoyed plenty of walks either straight out by foot from the home or a short drive away followed by a soak in the hot tub when we got back! We will definitely be returning in the near future.

This is a lovely place to stay so quiet and your away from everything and everyone. You have two living room areas with a tv in each so kids got to watch a movie whilst adults watch their own. A minor point. The toilet has been fitted a little close to the end bathroom wall (about 3"). Moving both the toilet and the sink/vanity unit a little would be far more comfortable.

We stayed here for a mountain biking trip and wanted something out the way but close enough to where we were riding. Located at the back of a farm the cottage had everything we needed and plenty of space. Nearest town bala was only 10mins in a taxi and the local pub also doubled as the shop aswell. All the locals were also friendly.

Great space for a trip away. We had 2 dogs with us and the area is enclosed so safe for them. So much room inside.

We had a 3 night girls trip and it was wonderful. The house is so cute, so peaceful and fully relaxing. Because the area has no light pollution the night sky is absolutely amazing (especially for those of us from big cities). Its a short drive to Bala but we were solely interested in relaxing - there is a lot of lovely walking to do in the area tho ugh. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are comfortable. The owners are so lovely as well. We're all definitely coming back!
Chris
Lovely place to stay. Overlooking Bala lake which is accessible at the local village by a quaint steam train. The location is perfect if you like to be just outside everything, being on a working farm the property is at the top of the farm affording privacy. Inside the cottage is decorated with nice touches related to farm life. The garden has a ho t tub and views of the farm and faraway hills with a nice walk close by. Sometimes military planes fly overhead I even saw a red arrow! Amazing.
Caroline
Lovely cottage in a great location. We found the accommodation clean and well equipped with great views towards Bala. We visited Barmouth and Harlech which are well worth a visit and also drove to Llanberis to climb Snowden which is about an hour and a quarter drive away. Yr Eagles pub is worth a visit with decent food and Bala is a nice little tow n too. Hot tub is a real bonus. Would recommend this property.
Michelle
Lovely stay again this year. Weather was very kind to us again. Absolutely love this cottage and especially on a working farm. We will definitely be back again.
Rachel
Lovely cottage tucked away on a working farm. The location was perfect for the local high street in Bala and not too far to travel to snowdon, we also visited Barmouth, devil falls, Aberystwyth and Porthmadog, all roughly an hour away.
Ellie
This is a beautiful farmhouse in a peaceful setting. It's on a working farm but we didn't have any interruptions because of that, it was quite lovely to see the sheep and cows. The house is really well equipped and comfortable plus it was very clean throughout. For hikers you can set off right from the front door up the nearby Aran mountains which was a nice plus for us. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend a stay here!
Abigail
