We had a lovely break, great accommodation, great location. Martin was very helpful. Highly Recommended

The property is lovely and whilst the view is slightly limited, the location with the canal 200 feet from the property is excellent. The property itself is a lovely place to stay. Overall, the cottage was lovely. The shower was leaking, which covered the bathroom floor. We were not aware before booking or prior that dogs were not allowed on the sofa or bed, so we didn't have a bed for Alfie. If we knew before hand, we would of brought his bed with us. The hot tub water was 15 days overdue water change. The windows were not vRead moreery clean on the inside or outside. The dogs behind the cottage were barking aggressively at Alfie so we couldn't spend much time outside Hide

Lovely accommodation. Comfortable good quality beds and lots of room in the living/kitchen area. Added luxury is the hot tub!

Such an amazing spot to stroll along the canal. Quiet, lovely cottage and private hot tub. We did lots from here - Pen y fan, waterfalls, canal cruise, Zip World - all easy drives through spectacular scenery. Would absolutely come again. Great communication with Martin too!

Disappointing, won't be returning. Not dog friendly - multiple large red capital letter signs saying 'NO DOGS ON FURNITURE' 'NO DOGS ON BEDS'. Unwelcoming & unnecessary as in T&Cs. High-standard, spotlessly clean accommodation, spacious rooms and outside space and a very friendly host. This was the most wonderful family holiday cottage and location! Spacious, warm, comfortable, right on the canal! Lovely sofas, beds and soft furnishings, all felt very luxurious. Hot tub was awesome with fantastic lights and plenty of bubbles. Everyone had plenty of storage space and seating. The vaulted ceilings were lovely as it felt like a larg e space, but also cosy. Lots of plug sockets which is always useful. Brilliant WiFi and having a smart TV was really great, can't wait to book again!

Nice peaceful and relaxing break.
John
Beautiful setting, beautiful cottage and so peaceful. Very good pub with lovely views within walking distance. Only downside would be if you dont want to drive anywhere it is set in a corner of the Brecon Beacon area so you would be limited for things to do. That said, we thouroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend the cottage.
Tracey
A lovely cottage, right on the canal so our dog loved it! The cottage was lovely and clean and very well equipped. The hot tub is very private and a real treat. Lovely location with so many walks from your doorway, but also so much to see locally.
Anne
We wanted a peaceful relaxing break with somewhere nice and safe to walk our dog, and that is exactly what we got. The canal walk is lovely, with a cafe at Goytre wharf which is a nice place to haveabreak. The property is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook for yourselves and no washing-up! The hot tub area is private in a lo vely sunny spot. The cottage is comfortably furnished with quality items. What you see in the photos is what you get. We highly recommend a stay here.
