This was the most wonderful family holiday cottage and location! Spacious, warm, comfortable, right on the canal! Lovely sofas, beds and soft furnishings, all felt very luxurious. Beautiful setting, beautiful cottage and so peaceful. Very good pub with lovely views within walking distance. Only downside would be if you dont want to drive anywhere it is set in a corner of the Brecon Beacon area so you would be limited for things to do. That said, we thouroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend the cottage.

The canal walk is lovely, with a cafe at Goytre wharf which is a nice place to haveabreak. The property is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook for yourselves and no washing-up! The hot tub area is private in a lo vely sunny spot. The cottage is comfortably furnished with quality items. What you see in the photos is what you get. We highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic, well equipped cottage and in a stunning location. Hot tub was great for stargazing and would highly recommend the canal for a leisurely stroll with some spectacular views. Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle.
