Bryn Moelyn Cottage Reviews

Lovely cottage, highly recommended
Sandra
Bryn Moelyn cottage is absolutely beautiful, renovated to an exceptional standard by the owners. Stunningly decorated, little touches throughout, everything you could wish for upon arrival. Hot tub is divine, as is the bath tub. Wood burner nice & cosy in the evening. Comfortable and relaxing. Its a cosy little paradise. Great location for surrounding areas too.
Michael
One of the best self catering properties we have stayed in. We were made so welcome by our hosts, who were very helpful with information about the property and the local area, places to visit. Some lovely personalised extras, eg fresh cut flowers, wine, milk, eggs. A perfect week in a fabulous holiday home.
A lovely property in every way. It was very clean, very comfortable and has everything you need to make it a special stay. The hosts, Chris and Alison were friendly and welcoming. They were available at all times without being intrusive. We highly recommend Bryn Moelyn Cottage.
Sharon
Brilliant cottage, beautifully renovated, obviously no expense spared. Beds comfortable, hot tub well maintained by Chris. Great cycle routes close by down quite lanes. Lovely walks close by to walk the dogs. Chris and Alison great hosts close by. Would totally recommend and will live to return.
Robert
The hosts were fab, the cottage is superb, and the location fantastic. I would definitely recommend people stay here!

Chris and Alison thought of everything with this property which has only recently been completely rebuilt to a very high standard and made it a perfect base to ensure short journeys to all of the Llyn Peninsular. Chris and Alison are the prefect hosts, with lots of local information and knowledge and available if you need anything. The property itself is fantastic, very comfortable, wellappointed with all the amenities for cooking etc. that you could wish for, spotlessly clean. A true home from home. In a secluded peaceful location. To top it all off a lovely patio area and hot tub to soak aching muscles or relax on a cold day. We absolutely loved it and will book again.
A beautiful house, fully equipped with everything you could need to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Thank you for having us!
What a gem of a find . The cottage was renovated to a high specification . Chris & Alison and dogs were very welcoming and happy to help with anything . We really enjoyed our stay , and highly recommend this cottage . The location was perfect for accessing coastal resorts on the Lynn Penisula and Alison and Chris have made this so easy to find with a pinpointed map and folders with lots of places to visit . We will definitely revisit

A comfortable and well equipped cottage, which is a credit to owners Chris and Alison. Set in a tranquil situation but close to everything the Llyn Peninsula has to offer. After walking all day on the beautiful coast path and on the nearby beaches you can recover in the excellent hot tub, under the powerful showers and on the comfortable beds. A real home from home for a refreshing break.
Cottage renovated to high standard with many interesting features, which made it very pleasant to be in, and it was good to read about the renovation process in the book provided. Most of what was provided was to a high standard, and a very comfortable base and location to explore the area. Owner was very responsive to all our queries both prior to, during and after our stay. Thank you. specific comments for our stay its a pity that there are no immediate walks which can be accessed without a car. Nice to be able to walk around the grounds though. Kitchen worked fine for us, but the kitchen knives were quite blunt for chopping, so better knives would be worth getting. We found the dining and living room space quite cramped together, so it was often a squeeze manouvering between dining chairs living room furniture when moving between these two spaces. Not sure if anything can be done to improve this.
My wife and I had a really nice week in Bryn Moelyn Cottage in May. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, but still retains its character. The facilities are excellent. It's located in a very private and scenic location and is within half an hour of just about anywhere on the Llyn Peninsula, including some lovely beaches. We enjoyed walking large stretches of the coastal paths, where we saw plenty of wildlife. We would highly recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.
An expertly restored cottage that has overcome so many hurdles to emerge from the ashes of a derelict building. The owners, Chris and Alison have put so much time, effort and funds into this for our benefit. Yes, we pay for the privilege of spending time in the cottage, but it's worth every penny! The upsidedown arrangement works beautifully, with the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen, intelligently laid out. The French doors off the kitchen onto the private decking with the generously sized hot tub and lower level seating with gas BBQ a courtyard feel. No expense spared here and the little touches, throughout the property, give you a sense that the owners know those extras will be well received. Super, sleep inducing beds, comfortable leather sofas with throws, great log burner and tv with all the sky things to entertain if you've exhausted the games in the bookshelves. The property is positioned perfectly to explore all areas of the peninsula. Enjoy! We did.
Brilliant stay, house was perfect, beautiful rooms, gorgeous bath, heaven for me. Shaheen loved the kitchen,I loved the woodburner, and we all loved the hot tub. This is how a break should be,no stress or hassle.Beautiful location, handy for various days out,and always lovely to come back to.In all respects the perfect holiday accommodation, great house, perfect hosts, well done Chris and Ally.

Fantastic stay in a lovely cottage. Both hosts are Friendly without being intrusive and the property has everything you need for a relaxing break. Hot tub is the icing on the cake and we would not hesitate to return. Good base for exploring North Wales and plenty of local information to hand including maps and guides. The cottage has been recently renovated to an excellent standard and wants for nothing. Thank you for making our week so enjoyable.
We have just had a lovely holiday at this beautiful immaculate cottage. We were the first guests to stay here after it was renovated so feel very privileged. The Cottage is absolutely amazing! It is exceptionally well equipped and has lovely views. Great warm welcome on arrival by Chris owner who showed us round the Cottage and we even received treats for the dogs which was a lovely touch , plus welcome drinks and biscuits for ourselves. The Hot Tub was fantastic and very welcoming after a day out walking on the many beaches nearby. Plus a beautiful log burner which was very cosy and relaxing during the evenings. The hot tub was maintained daily by hosts Chris & Alison who live at the detached house close by with their beautiful dogs Rosie Mouse and Inka. The hosts are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. At night you could hear a pin drop, the only sound was an Owl in the distance. It really is a peaceful relaxing place to stay. We can't wait to return! Highly Recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed.
We had a superb stay at Bryn Moelyn cottage. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly and had added lots of really thoughtful touches. As well as refreshments and prosecco, there were less obvious bathroom essentials which made us feel like they had really put a lot of thought and effort into the guest experience. The cottage was spotless, fitted out to a high standard, and had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Our top tip is to turn off the outside and hot tub lights, lie back in the bubbles and watch the stars. The location of the cottage is really central to all the attractions on the peninsula and even in February we had some wonderful walks on the beaches. We'd thoroughly love a return visit and hope that won't be too far in the future.

Our family had a wonderful relaxing 3 night stay at this beautifully recently restored cottage. Chris and Alison were so friendly and accommodating. I cant speak highly enough of the property itself, finished and furnished to the highest standard with plenty of luxury little extras like the hot tub, Gas BBQ, log burning fire, large free standing bath but to name a few. We were greeted by Chris and a lovely welcome pack which included Prosecco, flowers, treats, blankets and towels for our dog. All really nice touches that made us feel really welcome. There is a very comprehensive welcome pack put together by Chris and Alison that provided us with plenty of information and ideas for things to do that take advantage of all the area has to offer. We visited one of the many beautiful local beaches one day and spent another day in the cottage happily just enjoying the property. Staying in or going out you will have a lovely time her regardless. We will defiantly be coming again and if you are reading this thinking of a family break away LOOK NO FURTHER as we highly recommend this property! Many Thanks Chris and Alison ....and all the best for the future.
