Garreg Lwyd Reviews

Sheila
Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you need, the welcome pack is a lovely gesture and was very much appreciated. The cottage looks exactly like the pictures online its clean and cosy especially on an evening with log fire burning, we hope to come back in the near future and have already recommended to friends and family.
The Cottage was in a lovely location and contained everything you could possibly need. It was exceptionally clean and we arrived to a lovely welcome hamper which was very well appreciated. It was a surprising large cottage but previously it had been two cottages. The owner left us a very informative manual about the history of the cottage and places to visit in the area. We had no problem with parking using the carpark further down the road on the left in front of the playground. Using the parking space near the cottage at Weekends to unload and load the car. WiFi wasnt the best but to be expected in the local area . Would definitely recommend this well kept cottage to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

Lovely cosy cottage , clean and tidy the owner were nice and helpful , very quiet area if you need to relax and recharge. Nice walks, cafe by the power station which is nice, and hear and see the steam train from the garden.
This cottage is absolutely lovely, stylish yet homely and cozy in the evenings with the log burner on. Clean and well equipped everything you could need is provided. Including a lovely welcome basket. The garden is small but lovely and a little sun trap, spent a couple of late afternoons in there after a day out. A lovely place to stay would highly recommend it.
A beautiful, well equipped cottage. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed and more. Communication was excellent throughout the cottage is just lovely and we were able to do many walks straight from the door. A great week away and if we were to return to North Wales, we would certainly look to stay here again. Thank you.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.
