Forming part of an idyllic collection of lodges in Caernarfon, North Wales, Gwynant Lodge is a welcoming family holiday home. Pull up outside and park on the convenient driveway offering parking for one car and begin to unload your luggage and your worries, now your holiday has officially begun.

Be welcomed into the open-plan living space which is the ideal spot for gathering together with a large corner sofa offering the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax while watching TV or simply enjoying each other’s company. When stomachs start to rumble, step into the stylish kitchen which is comprehensively fitted with all that is needed to create wholesome food for the whole family and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the rustic dining table and look forward to tucking into relaxing meals together.

Evenings just got a whole lot more exciting with the addition of a stunning hot tub on the decking outside the property where guests can relax in the soothing, bubbling water, an ideal place to unwind after a day full of exploring. Come bedtime, there is an immaculately presented king-size bedroom for the grown-ups and the kids will love the cool bunk bedroom.

After a quick dip in the chic shower room in the morning, you’ll be ready to hit the attractions of North Wales. Gwynant Lodge offers its guests a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in the heart of vibrant North Wales.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

A visit to Great Orme Ancient Mines is offers a fun and educational daytrip for families. The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. Welsh Mountain Zoo - LL28 5UY

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
