Cannot recommend it enough. We had the most amazing stay and will definitely be back, lovely hosts and a beautiful location.
Alycia
We loved it here. We glamp a lot, and this was one of our favourites and thinking about coming back. The views are beautiful and listen to the birds and animals around was peaceful. You can meet and greet the Alpacas and have a massage also and spend all day in the hot tub watching the sun set.
Emma
We had a wonderfully relaxing time at this special and peaceful place. The accommodation is really comfortable, the kitchen is great and the views are incredible. It was so relaxing that it was quite hard to tear ourselves away to explore Anglesey!
Valerie
A very well-designed holiday home with thoughtful touches and excellent views. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to be with the added surreal bonus of a hot tub. A convenient location for visiting the whole of Anglesey including various beaches and castles.
Benjamin
We had such a wonderful stay at Island Hide. The location was perfect for exploring Anglesey, ziplining, and hiking Yr Wyddfa. Steve and Jo were an absolute delight and made us feel so welcome. We were so grateful for their generosity and the massage treatments! The outdoor kitchen was fantastic, the shepherds hut comfortable and cosy, and the hot Read moretub was a restorative treat. We would definitely stay again for a longer period to allow more time for both relaxation and to see more of Anglesey! Hide
Diana
3rd visit. Absolutely love the Shepherd's Hut. It's perfect for me. The perfect balance of inside and outside living. Can't recommend enough!
Yasmen
it's so comfy and amazing size.
Steve
Lovely hut in a lovely location, very relaxing and enjoyable.
SARAH
The location is stunning and the hosts provide a warm welcome on arrival; the shepherds hut is clean and cosy with all the facilities you need. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and the views are incredible!
Cheryl
A wonderful relaxing stay in a fantastic location. The cute alpacas were so calming. The hosts are amazing and the wood burning hot tub was just another fantastic experience.
Deyus
Had a lovely stay, the only real issues were that it felt it needed a really good clean and there were no plug sockets available apart from away from the hut which wasnt very clear anywhere when booking. Otherwise it was very private even though it is on the property and in a beautiful location. We would stay again
Robert
What an amazing place for a getaway, wonderful hosts, beautiful surroundings, the perfect place to unwind.
Nichola
Gorgeous accommodation in a very picturesque location. Very friendly and helpful host whilst having complete privacy. A perfect base to do some exploring of a stunning island! Highly recommended
Scott
Great hosts and nice quirky, comfortable accomodation - we would highly reccommend it for a relaxing break! Well situated for access to all of Anglesey & Snowdonia. Hot tub was fab :) Top tip - take some change for parking meters whilst out and about!
Kylah
Incredible view! Jo was really friendly and took the time to show us where everything was even down to how to light the hot tub to get the best out of it. Has everything you need. The little touches such as the festoon lighting and the lights above the hot tub make it really cosy at night! The porch is a great addition that you dont get on other sh epherds huts. Cant wait to come back when the weather is a bit cooler so we can explore more places with the dog! Thank you for such a good stay.
Kayleigh
We had the best week here! It was so quiet and the views were beautiful, exactly what we needed. It was great waking up to the alpacas every morning and chilling on the deck in the evening, looking out at the view with a beer. Jo and Steve were so friendly, lovely and attentive, and were there if we needed anything, but also gave us space to enjoy our holiday, just us two. We will definitely be coming back and will also be recommending to our friends and family. Thank you!
Samantha
Me and my boyfriend stayed here with our dog for the weekend. It was honestly such an amazing stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little escape. It is so quiet and private, you forget the owners house is next door. The hut has everything you need, we definitely brought so much stuff we didnt need. Thank you for a lovely stay
Diana
My 2nd visit within 8 months, & I love Island as much, if not more, than the 1st time. I love everything about the hut: the comfort & cosiness of the hut, yet the ability to be outside watching the sunset, on the veranda if the weather is a bit wet, & to be cooking outside (even in a storm this time!). Just my idea of perfection. The Hut's wee log fire was incredible & not only heated nicely, it gave the hut that 'hygge' feel. The dog loved her stay too. I'll be back again, and again...
Matt
What a gorgeous place! If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, romantic break, surrounded by nature, then this is the place for you! Enjoy the rustic nature of an outdoor kitchen, with the modern convenience of a proper shower and toilet. Light a fire in the log burner to get toasty warm and sit back to read a book or play a game without the need for electricity for a TV etc. The addition of the log burning hot tub is great. Thoroughly recommend!!
Toby
One of the best stays Ive had in a while. A peaceful and tranquil setting, the perfect get away. Being 6ft 4, I was a little nervous about the overall size of the accommodation, but a couple plus a staffie, there was adequate space. The views are incredible, the alpacas, natural wildlife and what can be found within 15 minutes from the accommodatio n, complete a wonderful stay. If you are looking for an escape from a chaotic work like, or simply a romantic break. Its certainly the one.
Jason
Really enjoyed our stay, accommodation comfortable clean and compact. Very peaceful and relaxing enjoyed watching the Alpacas. Owners were fantastic hosts and really looked after us. The location is an ideal base for discovering Anglesey from.
Heather
Really lovely week spent at Island . A proper little hideaway ideal for some peace and quiet and relaxation for a mini moon break after our wedding. Had everything that we could need and was in an ideal location for everything that we wanted to do. Couldnt fault it
Paul
Brilliant accommodation! Great hosts, great scenery with alpacas close by! An ideal , beautiful shepherds hut, warm, cosy , a little bit of paradise!
Owen
Amazing place! Done beautifully and a great holiday.
Mark
This is a really magical place to stay, beautiful hut, amazing views, lovely hot tub. Jo & Steve are so friendly and helpful, feels really private and is fully stocked with anything you may need for the stay. Would 100% recommend you try this place
Jane
Comfortable bed. Great location.
Louise
We had an absolutely amazing stay here, everything was perfect from start to fonnish. The hosts were so welcoming and could not do enough to make sure we had what we needed. The location is incredible, breathtaking views, gorgeous sunsets and the cutest alpacas gliding through the field. The hot tub was by far our favourite part of the stay, firing up the wood stove and drinking a glass of wine or two watching the sunset. Thanks for an incredible stay!
Diana
My idea of heaven! All the joy of camping/outdoor living, yet with amazing Shepherd's Hut & veranda, comfy bed, ensuite (flush toilet/hot shower), camping kitchen, fit pit & stunning hot tub with stunning views. It's very private. Booked specifically for dog-friendliness: take long leads (e.g. 8ft?) & there's 2 carabiner clips (for hammock) to tie up dog/give some freedom (supervised). Jo & Steve were fantastically welcoming, helpful when you needed & gave you your privacy. I will 100% be back.
Cerys
Beautiful views, lovely owner, really well thought out place.
Margaret
We enjoyed our stay at the Island hide Shepherds hut and appreciated a comfortable bed and lovely clean bathroom facilities with plenty of hot water. The beaches within easy reach were lovely and the log fires outside a very pleasant way to spend the evening with the hot tub too. We were lucky with the weather and it was so easy to relax being off grid - didn't know Boris had resgned til we got home! Thankyou to Jo for being helpful and kind. Very safe for the dog.
Gregor
Loved our trip to the Island . The shepherds hut is great, compact and cosy with everything you need to get away from it all. The views live up to billing and were enjoyed either from the veranda or the hot tub. The hot tub does take some time to get heated up, keep an eye on the fire and make sure it's roaring away and you'll get up to toasty temperature. Location is ideal for seeing the area, a short hop onto the mainland if exploring outside Anglesey
Michael
Third stay here, all the facilities you need for a quite relaxing break. The views are still absolutely breathtaking. And with plenty of things to get up to nearby to keep you busy. Thank you Jo & Steve see you again soon.
Julie
Lovely stay in the shepherds hut amazing views and once the hot tub was hot it was a lovely welcome addition. The owners were lovely and helpful.Thankyou
Joanne
Booked this as an early birthday treat for myself and what a treat it was! The cabin and the surrounding space were gorgeous. Even though it's close to the owner's house, it still feels private and secluded. We had a great weekend enjoying the views, befriending animals and drinking wine in the wood fired hot tub. Absolute bliss! Would 100% recomme nd to anyone.
Mari
Lovely and clean , well apointed hut with very comfy bed and beautiful view, loved the hot tub. The alpacas were very cute and Jo and Steve are lovely, helpful hosts.
Alison
We had a lovely stay. Weather was perfect. Definitely more of a spring/ summer break. Hot tub in the evening with the views, perfect. Great en-suite. An electrical socket in the main bedroom would benefit. But had a lovely stay.
David
We were extremely happy with the stay. The cabin is well thought out, with plenty of small touches which all add up to make a space which is very comfortable. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the bed is extremely comfortable with ample storage dotted all over. The bathroom is well equipped and towels were provided including extras for the hot tub, and plenty of cooking equipment in the separate kitchen. Just be sure to take care driving down the track to the cabin.
Harry
The Island is a lovely off the grid holiday. With the log burner lit, the hut is nice and cosy allowing you to relax on your holiday. The hut itself is situated in a great location with access to some beautiful walks which were perfect for us and our dog. Far enough away from the town to only hear the birds outside was bliss. Jo was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The views are amazing and the hot tub was perfect to soak in after a long walk. What an amazing place.
Leanne
Just had the most wonderful birthday at the Island . Our hosts were friendly and charming and it was great being near the Alpacas and the neighbouring lambs. Had a trip out then returned to the delights of the hot tub and the hammock and enjoyed marshmallows on the fire pit. The ideal place to escape from busy life and watch the sun sink slowly on the horizon whilst sipping bubbly in the hot tub - a perfect end to a great birthday. We will be back for sure! Thank you.
Kayleigh
I couldnt have wished for a better trip. Easily the best UK Staycation Ive been on. And Jo was super helpful and lovely! We cant wait to visit again x x
